A great inexpensive option for a J bass pickup configuration.

I love the sound. Period.

The set up needed the normal adjustments for my taste but not a bad job by the manufacture. Fret work was top notch. Neck needed to be flattened a bit and bridge lowered. Intonation was spot on.

A couple finish flaws but nothing major. I don't like the white pickguard and think it would look great with matte black. I may attempt to paint it or make one.

In all this thing is solid. I may pick up the JP-450P next. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence about buying a JJ- 450P. You won't be sorry.

Perfect Bass w/ Active Pickups for ~$250 USD

Admittedly my comparison basses are low in quantity & quality, however the JJ-450 P has exceeded my expectations in every way. After reading all of the Harley Benton hype, I took a chance on this newly released JJ450 (natural) model for my first ever new bass purchase and couldn't be happier. The review that mentioned the feedback issue is true, so I will be looking to resolve that as well. The finish also mentioned in a review is low / no gloss, but agrees with my preference.
