Exactly what I needed

Works great with BIAS FX on iPad. Just had to purchase a small adapter to plug both the iRig HD 2 interface and this midi controller to my iPad and the it works like a charm. The default settings for BIAS FX works well out of the box, and you can easily assign any button to any function/pedal. Worth every penny.

Very niche use case and may not be fit for your intended purpose

I wanted to use this with ableton to switch scenes, change amps and toggle pedals and this has been near impossible to configure.

Im using a mac and i find little videos online for mac set up

im also using bias and having chatted with their support reps, they basically said i would never get it working with their products (a vital menu option isnt showing for me as it doesnt recognise the product, so i cant use it)

there seem to be a lot of rave reviews here but i would really say; if your looking for something to do any of the above and its your first time using one of these, dont get lulled into buying this one. Its cheap but its a nightmare to use.

Also, theres no resale market for it ! I tried putting it on reverb and some local buy and sell apps and no one is interested (even if listed at 50 euro).

Love it.

Good solid little midi peddle. Could use more banks though, otherwise great.

Nice MIDI Controller

Sturdy built with low noise switches. The programming possibilities leaves something to desired like for example no way to set momentary switches, BUT, you can use the firmware from another similar controller on the market to enable that and FYI, it works just fine.

Its good piece of gear when it works!

I needed a midi footswitch for some presets I had been working on and this did the job for the first 2 weeks, but now I have to re connect the device roughly 3 or 4 times to get it to even register with my daw or any plugins.

The overall build quality feels sturdy because of its metal casing and the switches work fine. Its just the actual consistency of the connection from the device to your DAW or rig can be very poor!

If you have some extra cash maybe look to spend the extra on a different foot switcher, for the simple reason that you want something alittle more consistent especially if you are a gigging muscian!

Reliable device

Built as tank and easy to set it up to work with my kemper in performance mode. Needless to say that it is possible to use with plain AAA batteries. I changed them after 4 rehearsals - at 4 hours use per rehearsal. No delays upon switching presets. Lots of options I/O

Not recommended if you need to use a Custom config live

I bought this to send CCs to Camelot Pro on a Macbook in a live setting via USB. It *sometimes* works. Almost always requires multiple re-starts because it freezes and becomes unresponsive. It's the pedal itself because it does this even with no software connected - the onboard footswitch lights don't even change and the display freezes. Others have noted similar issues so apparently it's not just me. Obviously this is unnecessary added stress in a live gig environment - looking at better alternatives now.

Great for the money

For a cheap switcher it seems good... Seems buggy sometimes though. Not super reliable

great

just know what it can and can't do

Disappointed

Needed a basic midi footswitch to toggle reverb on/off with Behringer XAir 12, this did the job but the 'bank down' foot switch failed after a few weeks :-(

Nice unit, but not very handy to power

It's a nicely built unit with nice functions, but relying on batteries or a thick usb cable for power is really not ideal.

Good quality for a low price

The overall quality o the MP-100 is really nice. It's well built and sturdy. The initial setting was relatively easy. I haven't tried it with an Axe FX, Kemper etc, but with some guitar plugins, connected to my laptop via usb cable, since my interface didn't support midi. I don't have any experience with something more expensive from another brand, but it fulfills its purpose more than anticipated.

No driver required, this Midi Foot Controller just works right away

Sturdy and useful MIDI controller

Everything about this controller is quality - the build, the packaging, the way it feels. I use it with BiasFx and it’s absolutely awesome. It also comes with all sorts of connectivity options so there’s nothing else I could ask for.

I was looking for a footswitch for my Synergy Syn2 and since the original one wasn't available, I found this and bought it and it does the job well. It's well made, sturdy and good-looking, although it's quite a hassle to set it up and the manual is written in a way that's not really understandable and I find it confusing so I needed to find YouTube videos to figure out how to set it. The only feature I find annoying is that one can't (or at least I couldn't figure out how to) set the footswitches to activate the channels on the Synergy with just one pressing and to have the LED active at the same time. It seems that it works only with the on/off setting which would require a double pressing each time.

Faulty and unreliable

I bought this to use with Bias FX on my iPad, but it randomly refuses to work (pushing the switches doesn't do anything and display is frozen). Sometimes one preset works and sometimes I have to switch to another one, turn it off and on, removing and inserting the USB cable etc to get it to send MIDI signal. Tried different USB hubs, but no success. Also tried it on my Mac, where it was unstable as well, so it is definitely an issue with the footswitch. I was mainly planning to use it for live performance, but I just can't rely on it.

Does what is does at a good price!

I ordered this HB MP-1000 to use with my BIAS FX plugins.

The BIAS FX template has already been loaded into the midi pedal, so it was practically a plug'n'play affair. Programming the pedal from the BIAS FX plugin is a piece of cake.

The only thing (still) bugging me is when I restart my PC I'm always unsure if the midi pedal will respond to the plugin again. So I really cannot say at this moment if it's an issue with my plugin or with the midi controller.

The only minor thing I can mention about the controller itself are the caps underneath the floor controller. They're are made of some kind of hard plastic and do not have enough friction to the floor to keep the controller from sliding away on non-carpetted floors

So in conclusion in my case: when it works, it does exactly what it supposed to do. No lag, no delay, responds very well.

Works pretty good for what I need it for

I've tried using it with every single guitar amp sim plugin and it works really great. Not just for what it supports out of the box. For instance, the PC-8 mode works really great for Neural DSP program changes and the customizable presets are great for TH-U or even Helix Native.

Does everything it says.

I purchased this unit as a near final piece to downsizing my live rig - Bias FX Mobile on iPad. An added benefit is the battery compartment that can hold rechargeable batteries.

Everything that was described works as it should, although it took a little while to figure out how to power the device for use with Bias FX.

The only complaint that I have is that this unit does not provide power at the MIDI Out Port for use with a wireless MIDI dongle.

This was an excellent, affordable, product from Harley Benton that is less expensive than the original product ( MA ).

I think for the manual they should also include how to connect it to a DAW and how to set it up if possible to map all the buttons freely.

Kind of struggling to make it work in Ableton, thinking to send it back if I will not find a way for this...
