Harley Benton MS-60LH VW Vintage Series 4-stars Reviews
Good guitar for the money; needs routing to add a humbucker
I bought this guitar because it's the only reasonably-priced lefty Mustang-ish guitar on the market currently. It was not well packed, but made it to me in the USA just fine.
It's a good budget guitar; good pickups, frets, and electronics. It's a bit heavier than it needs to be, and the neck is chunkier than I personally like. The bridge, tremolo, tuners, and nut are not great, but just fine for us bedroom/basement rockers. Mine came with .10 strings installed, not the .09s mentioned in the listing.
Note for modders: the body cavity needs routing (or chisel work) to fit that Duncan JB in the bridge position.
Great little guitar
I bought this guitar a couple of years ago before moving house and have only just got around to having time to play it. The neck is thin and very playable up the neck, the fretwork is OK but could do with a level to get it playing better to be honest. The sound is great with tele-ish tones to my ears. The nut was cut well and only needed a slight adjustment. I think the only downside to this guitar is the bridge as it rocked back and forth a lot throwing the guitar out of tune so i replaced it with a roller bridge which i luckily already had. All in all if you are looking for a mustang style guitar you cant complain at this price and with a little setup it would be great in anybody's guitar collection
