Great guitar for smaller hands.

I got this guitar for my young son. He seems to be really enjoying it. The only thing I saw that it was lacking was a setup. Which to be fair most new guitars need a setup anyway.

It's crazy how you can get a functional guitar for this low price

I got this guitar for one of my cousins; he is 12 and wanted to start playing electric guitar after he heard me doodle on mine.

The guitar stays in tune fairly well; the action was not great, but it's playable out of the gate. There were no frets sticking out or anything like that, but with the strings the guitar came with, I would instantly get rid of them and place a decent pair on it, and it made a huge difference in the sound. The knobs and the volume switch feel kind of loose, but they do their job.

I would totally recommend this to a kid or someone that isn't sure if he is going to stick with the instrument and just get a feel for it and eventually move to a better instrument, but for the price, you couldn't ask for more.

I bought this guitar specifically to dismantle and rebuild, after modification, as a baritone ukulele! Neck width reduced, 2 machine heads removed, bridge and nut replaced. Pickups changed. All works a treat. Very happy with my second experiment

very good quality

I bought this guitar for my 5 year old grandson due to the fact he was always wanting to beast mine with his vicious strumming..He just stands there like a rock star making one hell of an ear shrivelling noise lol...but it is still going strong with the original strings and suprisingly stays in tune quite well due his abuse :)

the size of this guitar fits him really well :)

Just perfect instrument, for begginers, for kids, or for experimentators. For the prize I was expecting way less than I got. So now I just can't stop playing this small beauty.

Just that strings feels better to play when they are tuned higher, from A instead of E. Otherwise it was maybye too low, and it was buzzing slightly or you could overtuned the tone while pressing too much on the string.

Awesome built quality

I think the fretboard is made of Amaranth as it has that purpleish in it :D and it looks lovely. The built quality is stunning for this price range; neck and body fit is just perfect and the bridge is in line with it all. Nut is also cut well. Pickups were too high and too close to the strings but that is an easy fix (lower the pickups so they are flush with the pickguard). All in all, very happy with this and will give it to my 4 yo boy as a Xmass gift!

Great little guitar

Bought this guitar for my young daughter. She loves it.

I was very impressed with the quality, playability and set up. Looks nice too. I was surprised how heavy the guitar was for the size. maybe a bit too heavy. Would have been nice if it included a cheap strap.

Overall very happy with it.

Ridiculous for the price

I bought this guitar to play a fourth higher to complement regular guitar. So far it seems great and I can definitely not complain for the price. If you're looking for a cheap instrument to expand your sound you can't really miss with this. The quality of some of the parts is so-so but nothing that's not upgradeable.

I'd definitely recommend keeping the tuning of this instrument between G-G or A-A as the short scale doesn't make it really possible to play in standard tuning, but that's not why I bought the instrument.

The quality of this instrument has definitely got me interested in trying more Harley Benton instruments.

Perfect for kids

At first, I was a bit disapointed with this guitar. It came with 9/42 strings, and out of tune. All my efforts to tune guitar properly has failed. Main reason are strings. When I mounted Dunlop 12/53 strings, I menage to tune guitar perfectly (EADGBe) and guitar stays in tune for a long time. My kids are very hapy with guitar, and I may say that it sound very good.

Fantastic little guitar

I was amazed of the quality of this little guitar. I can't find anything to blame on it.

I sold it now( I have too many guitars) and the buyer is using it for his car/summerhouse guitar.

Ideal travel guitar

I bought this as I was working away from home and wanted a guitar I could put in my luggage and this along with an Orange Micro crush filled that role nicely. good sound and playability the tuners are basic but solid holds its tune perfectly. the fit and finish are well above the price point.

since returning home I've messed around with its use a bit by an octave up G string turning it into a 6 string electric ukulele and this has only added to the fun you can have with this little guitar highly recommended.

For the money, I don't think anything else comes close.

Bought this for my 4 year old (to stop him messing with mine). The finish has no faults, pretty much everything is adjustable like it's big brother, Mini Squier Strats are twice the price and I do not think twice the quality based on the standard of this product. Nice selection of tones from the selector switch, smooth pots, not too heavy on a strap for the little guy, all in all a very nice product.

I have played it myself (albeit struggling with the tiny fretboard) though a tiny practice amp and also though something 'a bit louder' and I am happy with the sounds it makes.

Really it is hard to find faults when putting into perspective, this is a very low price guitar for the quality you get. This will be a child's first electric guitar and should keep them going for years and I highly recommend it.

I bought it with the short scale gig bag which fits it very well.
