Not as advertised

This is not a string through body as in the pictures. The one they send me is string through the back of the bridge. Paint is comming off on the sides of the fretboard. Action is impossible to get low. Sound of the pickups are very nice and warm.

Outstanding price vs. quality

Bought it a few months ago and quickly became a fave. Please bear in mind that this is NOT a 3 or 4 figure priced guitar, BUT for its price it is definitely an outstanding piece of an axe. Also, my very best Harley Benton so far.

Great guitar

Good guitar with a good sound. Good pickups for metal. One minor inconvenience was that there were like 4 loose screws just bouncing around in the guitar. Had to open it up and get them out.

Great beginner guitar

I chose this guitar as my first guitar when I decided to learn playing guitar, and I'm very satisfied with it! It looks amazing, plays well and is a very great choice for beginner players. The only slight issue I have with the guitar is that mine is on the heavier side (around 4.4kg the last time I weighed it), but everything else is great! I love that it's a pretty hassle free guitar, changing tunings and doing basic set-up is very easy (the required wrenches and a screwdriver are also included). Great beginner instrument for people on a tight budget

Surprised.

Unexpectedly good inexpensive guitar. Finish is awesome, matt darkgrey-ish.

- nut holds .012 thicker Rotosound purples without issue

- especially for low E string the intonation screw that holds the saddle is quite long, it would cut the string if saddle is nudged towards bridge, need shorter screw.

Not bad for the price

This one will take some work. I'll need to level the frets and switch to lighter strings because the truss rod is as tight as it will go so I am stuck with too much relief in the neck. I should be able to make it playable.

Stealth T Style Rocker Ready for action!

The guitar is amazing! Sounds and plays fantastic. Ready for rock, surf, funk, Blues, country ,whatever you want. It's ready. Beefy construction. A real quality build. You won't find another as good in it's price range. Hands down, worth the $.

Ridiculous price

I usually look for second hand bargains but this was worth a go... OMG I have a tele with humbuckers that looks amazing and plays like the workhorse it is. Absolute go to rock guitar. Amazing!

Amazing!

Completely blown away by this tele copy and the value. So much better than I was expecting for this price. Very beautiful and plays well

Mini shredder

Bought this as an impulse buy and have been impressed playing it (at least 3 times a week). I play a wide range of music from heavy, punk rock to Dog Eat Dog and this can handle it all.

Recently I have had it tuned down to a half step and plays just as well. Would highly recommend this guitar to any new players like me, it keeps me very happy and my wife annoyed - win, win!

Great guitar for great price

Bought one a while back now, had it set up to my liking and have been using it regularly since.

Only issues to me are that the pickup switch is a little awkward to get to quickly with how close it is to the knobs, and I did replace the tuners on it.

Overall really great guitar, for sure coming back for another when the time comes!

A bit of a miss

I own 5 other Harley Benton guitars, and love them all. However, this one is a bit of a miss. The nut isn’t cut nearly deep enough, and the tuning heads were incredibly loose upon delivery. The high E tuner even turns backwards — clockwise as opposed to counter clockwise. Not sure what happened with this one. I’ve remedied all the issues myself, but yikes.

Pleasantly surprised

Would not hesitate to recommend this guitar, arrived in perfect condition, and almost in tune . Highly delighted!!!

Tele talk

This was my second purchase from Harley Benton. The first one had a minor problem that was resolved quickly by the company. This one only needed minor adjustments to the bridge. Looks great. Sounds great and at a great price. If you're hung up on the name I can't help you but if you want a great guitar for a very reasonable price then buy one of these. I bought 3 for a little more than the cost of an off shore Gretsch.
