Great guitar for the price

I need to start with the fact that this is a very good looking instrument. It just looks great and far more expensive than it really is. It is light and handles well. The neck is super comfortable. Out of the box, there were no sharp frets or any damages, loose screws or ferrules although I could notice one or two tiny dings in the fretboard. Nothing that impacts playability and is only visible from up close. The pickguard looks a bit cheap but it doesn't really bother me. The tuners are decent, they work just fine, the guitar holds tune and sounds great. It is really good deal for the money. I'm very happy with it and I think I found myself a new favorite.

Great entry level guitar

A beautiful guitar that won’t let you down, specially considering the price

Perfect for a beginner

There really isn’t so much to say. The quality is good, no sharp frets, action is low enough, frets aren’t very dry. The guitar is easy to play, doesn’t cost much, and to be honest, i can’t imagine a better guitar for the price! Like truly, the value for the money is just insane! The guitar holds her tune for long, and i have no complaints. Very satisfied

Quality without exception.

A budget guitar may turn out to be my go to guitar. After working on guitars for 35 years I found and am amazed by this beautiful line of guitars!

Well done!!!!

10/10 for the price.

this guitar is a work of art for the price. if i was handed this blindly and told this was a mim fender, i would believe you. it sounds absolutely beautiful. very shimmery and bright, and the neck is phenomenal. if you want a tele, you cannot beat this.

Fantastic guitar!!!

I bought this along with an SC-450 (see other reviews) in one bundle to save on shipping to the US. I've tried Teles and other T-style guitars before, but never bonded with them. This guitar made me a Tele man again! The only thing I didn't care for was the tuners. They held tune just fine, but felt cheap so I swapped them out for some Wilkinsons. Other than that, I swapped out the pots and wiring, but there was nothing wrong there. I just have a lot of extra parts lying around. There is no reason at all to swap the pickups - they're great as-is!

Incredible.

My new favorite electric guitar. Incredible quality telecaster guitar. The ONLY thing that feels cheap on the guitar is the pickup switch a little wobbly and one tiny imperfection in the finish, but other than that- incredible tone. Came set up well, low action, looks awesome. Can NOT beat the price. Love it. Sounds AWESOME TOO.

Excellent beginner Guitar

Considering the price, and quality of this instrument, no doubt it is an excellent beginner guitar and highly recommended. although, it can be used by most professional musicians as their go-to axe...

I am impressed )

The build quality of the TE-62CC is impressive, especially considering its affordable price. The guitar feels solid and well-made, with a nicely finished neck and fretboard that make it easy and comfortable to play. The hardware and electronics also feel sturdy and reliable, which is important for any guitar that will be used for gigging or recording. Right out of the box, the instrument is tuned quite decently - the frets do not stick out of the neck. The string height at the 12th fret is about 2.5 mm. It looks and feels a little bigger than I'm used to, but I think it can be adjusted by a guitar luthier. In any case - it's not so bad for the playing

Overall, the Harley Benton TE-62CC IS is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a well-made and versatile vintage-style electric guitar. Its combination of classic tone, comfortable playability, and attractive design make it a great option for beginners and experienced players alike. And with its affordable price, it's also an excellent value that won't break the bank. Highly recommended!

Incredible guitar, great value

It was straight out of the box incredible to play with after some tuning and intonation was perfect, there was no sharp frets, neck was straight no bent neck, also no string buzzing (tested all the notes on fretboard), neck and fretboard felt very smooth and polished. Only bad thing are the tuners, in my case one the tuners was a bit loose and had dead space when turning but at this price I shouldn't really complain about it.

Overall, this an amazing guitar if you are just getting started playing the guitar or want to try something different which was my case, I'm an classical and acoustic guitar player.

This is a a great value for the price.

Too Long; Didn't Read:

If you want a t style guitar why haven't you bought one of these? The value for the price is astronomical.

More details:

Less than a week delivered to the US. Packing was done well.

guitar acclimated for 48 hours prior to setup and tuning.

I love the neck. Smooth, no fret sprout, all the ends are smooth. Just feels great and it helps that the fretboard is gorgeous as well. Small gaps at body joint but no worse than I have seen on Squiers and player series Fender guitars.

The tuning machines are serviceable: not tight, no slippage, they have held tune extremely well.

The paint has just that hint of metal sparkle in it while not being too glittery and balances well with the caramel color of the neck and fingerboard. No nicks, scrapes or overspray.

The pickups are fine. They work are bright and not dark or dull.

Mine is heavy. ~8.5 kilos/10 lbs. A wide padded strap helps with it.

The base sustain and unplugged sound (if a guitar sounds dead unplugged I find it doesn't improve much when amplified,) is long and clear.

As is it is perfectly serviceable and usable. Action was a tad high but that is a personal preference.

I will eventually swap the pickups and tuning machines. But I am in no rush to do so. Even the strings were pretty decent, they got swapped for some Stringjoys but they weren't corroded and were pretty bright sounding.

So buy one, try it. It's a simple guitar both in construction and design but it works and it's good value for the money

Amazing guitar for beginners

I am really impressed with this guitar. It was ready to play out of the box and didn't need any adjustments. The finish is great and the maple neck looks amazing. The neck feels really comfortable to play. Sound quality is great. It stays in tune well and the tuners are fine. The only negative I have with it is that the pick-up switch feels a bit loose, but it still works okay and I haven’t had any problems with it so far. For the price this guitar is brilliant and I think would be a great choice for beginners.

Tele goodness

Just had to add another tele to my collection, with minor set up and a new set of strings, great classic tone and much lighter than my others.

The Inca silver is just beautiful with the caramelized neck, tuners work well and hold tune just fine although they are a bit stiff.

The Roswell pick ups are nice for the price point and sound great through all the effects I have.

The Neck alone is worth the price of this Guitar

When I received the Harley Benton TE-62CC IS, the first thing that struck me was how perfect the neck is. Zero fret sprouting perfectly smooth and flush. The satin finish is a joy to use. The colour is profound and so vintage looking. the fit of the neck to the body is perfect as well. The metal knobs are excellent and have excellent resitance. I am sure that the strings on my guitar are 09-42's and NOT 10-46's which I prefer. they are D'Addario strings. The tuners are excellent. My low E string tuner was just slightly out of line with the rest which I rectifies a bit, so it is a more aligned now. The pickups sound totally Telecaster like. The pick-guard is NOT three ply as they state in their description. It is a single ply white which is truer to the vintage 50's look. I have ordered a mint green three ply pick-guard and will see if it works. Not sure if it will but could be nice. My only critique is that the three way switch although very solid switching between the pickups, but laterally there is some give and feels a bit troubling. But they do click solidly between each setting. So, not a big deal. I saw another review on YouTube and they mentioned it as well. So I think it is the nature of the switch used. All and all and incredible guitar, that if you stuck a Fender Telecaster Made in Japan decal on the head stock it would pass with no problem. At 3x the cost, it would still be reasonable.
