Best in price range

Honestly, got this one on a whim, and besides some minor fret work and the usual setup (new strings, action, intonation), this is a pretty good guitar, especially for the money. I would recommend it.

My pride and joy

My favourite guitar. The pickups aren't the best, especially the neck, but the build quality is amazing. The neck is the smoothest I've ever come across. Would buy again if given the option!

I'm in love

I really liked this guitar. It's cheap, beautiful, it is well built, and has good sound. I had few cosmetic issues with screw and strap lock felt, but I fixed it, simply unscrewed and corrected position, and now this is my dream telecaster.

Amazing value-for-money!

Shocked at the level of quality considering the price. One of my other guitars (Yamaha Pacifica 112V) costs exactly double the price, but is actually kind of worse quality compared to the TE-62, and yamaha pacificas are always applauded for their value for money, but compared to the TE-62, you don't really get a better product, despite costing double. Quite surprising!

The guitar looks beautiful, feels great, and sounds great.

The set-up wasn't perfect, and I had to make some tweaks to action and intonation, but there were no major issues like sharp frets, or fret sprout (time will tell with that one.)

Many people say Harley Benton guitars are good value "for the money", but if I'm being honest, I'd be happy if I had paid double for this guitar.

It may not be as high-quality as something triple the price, (the hardware, electronics and wood might be cheaper in the TE-62), but I'd say it absolutely rivals guitars double its cost.

Heck if a deal.

Along with a second guitar purchase the shipping costs virtually stated the same. Absolutely flawless QC. I dig the mint pick guard.

Impressed with this guitar.. I'm a guitarist and play Fender USA models.. therefore I was sceptic.. however.. its a deal and great quality guitar... No it is nor a beginner guitar :)

wow

I was sceptical about the range of Harley Benton guitars but heard good things, so thought I’d give one a go. found this tele and loved the vintage colour and neck combo. well the guitar arrived and it’s amazing. sound quality is exceptional. has that clean Fender. Twang and plays very well straight out the box. only thing I found was the time knob was loose. Iv already got my eye on my next Harley Benton. 100% recommend.

Fantastic all around

As a complete beginner, I have been practicing on this guitar for about 3 weeks now..

So I thought a "review" from a beginner would be nice, if someone wants this guitar, but aren't sure yet...

First of all, lets just get one thing straight, the look, the feel.. everything.. just feels right..

I was expecting some minor blemishes here and there, but the only thing I found was 1 drop of paint on the body that you can't see unless you literally take your time and inspect it..

The neck feels great, no sharp frets.. even bought a fret filer, in case I needed it.. There is also no neck dive, which I'm super happy about..

(Got a Epiphone, and it has heavy neckdive.. annoying when you don't know how to properly grip the guitar for each chord.. not to mention when I try the pentatonic scale with it... On the HB, everything is just way easier..)

It sounds amazing, and did I mention the looks? Cause the look of it is absolutely fantastic!

If by some chance you are on the fence, don't be.. This is such a brilliant guitar, and I doubt you can find ANYTHING better at this price point..

I would bet this guitar could probably contend with some more expensive guitars also...

Big bang for your buck.

Looks great, sounds great, plays great. Very happy with this guitar. Only used for band practice so far but I dig it.

Love the caramel neck!

Well made for a guitar in this price range. Love the neck and it looks great as well. Plays well, stays in tune and sounds very good for the money. I would definitely buy again.

Amazing

I was a skeptic but this guitar is as nice as my mim tele - it's lighter too. I've never had a guitar setup so well out of the box. The fretwork is fantastic for such an inexpensive guitar. The neck alone is worth the pricetag.

What a guitar for such price. Flabbergasted!

A great instrument at any price

Wonderful to play, sounds great. Huge range of tones, from clean jazz to heavy rock. Be ready to fine tune it: truss rod / action / intonation. But if you can do that (or have your local guitar shop do it), you'll have a wonderful instrument.

Lovely T style

Guitar arrived in perfect condition. Fit and finish are excellent. It has a wonderful, slick neck. One of the best I've played. The original pickups were good, but I upgraded to Fender Vintage 64s. Sounds awesome. Also upgraded the tuners and saddles with Wilkinson products and installed a Fender switch. This guitar plays as good as my Fender MIM Tele and with the Vintage 64 pickups, sounds even better. I've purchased a few HB guitars before but this is the best one so far.

A great telecaster

I played many telecasters, from cheapest to very expensive models. This one is just as good as any real more expensive quality tele. I was honestly surprised, didn't expect this level of quality. The neck is very smooth, comfortable and well made, baked maple makes it special. The pickups are very good also, sounds like a tele. Tuners aren't the greatest but they are more than adequate. All in all, best money I've ever spent on an electric guitar!

Awesome instruments for that price

I was pretty sceptical about it due to price, but finally decided to try and what can I say - it's great sounding, awesome looking tele with perfect build quality for reasonable price. Highly recommend for anyone who wants "that twangy tele tone" without paying whole salary for fender.
