Harley Benton TUBE15 Celestion 5-stars Reviews
very pleasant sound, typical for tubes I recommend it not only for home use
My 'go to' amp
This is my main weapon at home and out and about now. Even the reviews do not do it justice as you can do anything with this amp. I have replaced the tubes because one blew but that is what tubes are supposed to do. Other than that played everyday with deep joy
Incredible amp - not just for the price
I really like the way this amp sounds and handles so many different genres (everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Machine Head) and it is the perfect amp for smaller gigs and things like that, and is more than loud enough for bedroom use and band practice. The speaker sounds great (better than the speaker from my 6505 combo) and everything is great quality. I have no complaints at all, the amp delivered what it promised and more.
Love it
I love it. Everyone's already talked about the specs, there are great YT reviews, I just wanted to say I love mine.
BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF WORK
This is extremely well made amplifier with two EL84's as the output valves. It capable of clean sounds with the gain down or Rock distortion with the gain turned up. You do not need a distortion pedal to get a lovely hard rock sound. Pricewise it is a beauty much cheaper than many other valve amps. Quality of manufacture is great , reverb is genuine spring in bottom of cab, eq is great and the attenuation is very useful for bedroom practice. I cannot praise this amp too highly , it is a real winner!!
What more needs to be said?
This is an absolute bargain and if you don't mind the poor aesthetics (for me at least) this is a no-brainer. 15 years ago you could only dream of getting a tube amp for this kind of price. It simply delivers on all accounts. I really commend Harley Benton for making tube amps reachable for kids just starting out or maybe someone with a limited budget. This is the way. Pros: - Beautiful tube sound - has FX loop - Loud enough for a band setting - Size & weight Cons: - poor aesthetics and square look - The reflective front plate makes it hard to read the text under the knobs sometimes
HB Tube amp 15W
Fantastic amp! Not to be beaten for such a good price!
Just perfect little amp with no compromises
It's fantastic what this amp can deliver in such a small size and price. There is no competitor for this amp I believe. As this is not the amp that I always dreamed of having (which probably would be a Marshal JVM) I could get the sound that I wanted and even more flexibility by pairing this with a Friedmann IRX in the effect loop and OMG it sounds amazing. It's a great platform for a preamp or pedals. Both sounds good.
Awesome
What a buy! Cheap, solid, loud and simply fantastic amp. Only gripe is buzz from reverb but I use a holy grail pedal anyway so it's not that relevant. In 30 years of various amps this is the best practice amp I have had. I've not gigged it as those days are over but I learnt long ago that lugging huge amps around was a fools errand when you are miced up anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to take this on stage.
Superb valve amp
Great amp sounds great and loud. Top quality.
Super cool!
Absolutely love this product fhfjfjfjfjjfjfjffjfjfjfj
Amazing sound, I love it
Genuine tube amp with analog sound, beautiful spring reverb, powerful and natural-sounding crunchy overdrive. Its sound inspires me and I like it so much that I've also ordered the head version to have a backup.
This is not just 'a very good amp for the price', this is the real deal. Excellent for bluesrock and hard rock, it's really easy to dial in a good sound and regulate crunch via guitar volume.
Cons: Connectors are soldered to PCB instead of wired, this makes it less reliable, and there are some SMD components, but as far as I know it does not seem to have digital circuitry and it looks reasonably repairable, with bias adjustment pots for the power tubes.
Considering the price I can forgive these cons so I give it 10/10 rating.
Great Amp
Couldn't fault it for the price , lovely cleans , nice reverb and a nice bit of gritt with the gain up. Built solid, has a nice carry handle and super portable. If you want an ac15 but don't want to break the bank too much I would highly recommend.
really great amplifier for the money, great sound
Great features
Sound quality is amazing with very less interference like buzzing noise.
Big voice for such a small dude.
Price wise very reasonable with reverb and tone features.
It's a little gem
I bought this to go with my D'Angelico Premier Tammany LS SVSB and I use the Harley Benton AirBorne 5.8GHz Instrument radio link. In my stone walled yard the sound is everything I need. The warm tones are a treat and give my playing a real lift. It's also beautiful to look at.
Finally the sound I was looking for
Before this one I had two solid state amplifiers. Nux Mighty 50X which I changed the speaker with a Celestion V12-60 speaker and after which I was not satisfied with the sound. The other is the Positive Grid Spark 40, which is interesting with its application and emulations of various pedals and speakers, but that dark sound that lacks treble was not good enough for me. I realized that I wanted a clean tube sound and would modify it with pedals. As soon as I turned on the Harley B. Tube 15, I knew that the sound was much better, straight out of the box. The ratio between what was bought and what was received is incredible... The price is very, very favorable. and this amp stays in my home.
tube tube why not before?
i am a fairly new guitarist and a friend convinced me that tube amps are something else from the digital modeling i have. and boy, was he right!?
i am a learner in my 50's and i didn't want to spend too much on a tube head and cabinet. i read a lot of positive review about this amp and i have to say that it sounds good, so good that makes me aware i didn't know the real sound of my guitars.
the harmonics in the sound you do not achieve in digital, make the difference and the distorted sound is what i hear on records.
in my small room is very much too loud and i use the 1w output, which is really enough and i can saturate well at lower volumes, so i do not need to buy an attenuator on the side. i use my pedalboard modeler into the fx send return at the back and it works great.
nice beige vintage color and light for transportation, has spring reverb , which works.
one thing i wish they made different was instead of the footswitch for reverb, a distortion channel, which would have been more useful imo.
general tone knob and tmb equalizer finish the features.
very happy with it, for that price is unbeateable.
Nice Quality and pure tube sound
A good quality amp at the fraction of the price of anything close to it. The only issue is really the depth of sound options is lacking but works good with pedals.
Great compared to price
If you're not able to get som good sound of this, you should probably evaluate your guitar skills. The reverb is not that great, and the speaker can be updated to make it sound even better. Plenty of valve mojo for those who knows what that means.
