Harley Benton Ukulele UK-11DW Brown Reviews
Good value
I bought this for my daughter to have a sense on what an instrument is. Turned out good overall. Sound is adequate, good finishing.
One minor issue is that the tune frequently off by itself.
Great Value
for just 20Euros it is a great ukulele and it even came with a gigbag, firstly i was suprised that ukuleles are tuned the way they are but apperantly it just is like it is.
It is Overall a really good valued uke and nothing to say against it at that pricepoint
Amazing for its price
Did not expect it to sound so good! The overall build quality is also very nice, the only issue is that the keys do not hold the tunning well
Very good for the price
It is ok , but sometimes goes out of tuning in 3th string.
Disaster
I bought this for my 3 years old, even she hated its sound and wanted to use mine.
Very small (definitely not for teenagers and older) the strings lose tune after one play, and sounds bad,
However for the price it makes a nice decorative feature in the studio
I always use this product
I always use this, if i go to a friends, i take it with me to play with, when i just go out, i always have it in a bag with me.
Tuning issues
Have ordered these ukuleles twice, two years in a row. The second order I made of 15 has worked out perfect as the tuning pegs have gears - the previous order of 20 ukuleles are a disaster as they fall out of tune in minutes rendering them a nightmare to use in a classroom setting.
Best value for money
Simply bought it of curiosity and I did not have to disappoint. Will do the job - suitable for learning chords and play for fun.
Cheap and cosmetically so-so
I have bought this uke for my 6 year old son to fiddle on and I must say that for the price it is OK. It is a real instrument - the frets have no dead spots or fret buzz. The tuners work good and it stays in tune quite well. Action is very good and low.
The finish is so-so. Not the best, not the worst.
Fret ends are not sharp, but looks like fretboard sides are lacquered or something - this got cracked at the 1st fret and fell off. Does not affect the playability though.
The sound and feel is horrible with stock strings. Replaced with Aquila and both sound and feel improve dramatically for additional 7€!
very good for the price
Great starter ukulele for my kid
My daughter loves playing this Ukulele. It has a good finished look so it feels more like an instrument than a toy. Original strings are really a waste of time so I bought the Aquila Regular Sopran Ukulele Strings which make a real difference ... I would say a must to make this little ukulele sound great.
little beauty.
A good ukulele for beginners or to indulge in. Included bonus case.good sound . I do not know . maybe because it?s too small) I don?t know, but it was my first ukulele. Toman as always makes things head and shoulders above competitors. oh yeah, if you want to record music, I advise you to purchase a more expensive model. it only to learn no more
Quite good
Really good for the price actually
Perfect beginner uke!
This was the first uke I bought & I absolutely love it. I've learnt so many things & it was a pleasure playing with this one. It doesn't fit too well in the arms while standing, but it's easy to play when you're sitting.
Amazing beginner's instrument for a very small price!
This was a gift. I played it myself before giving it away, I was scared an instrument for ~18 Euros can not be good. But it was better than expected. It is simple, basic, but also well-built and sturdy.
Has been played for dozens of hours so far, and 0 complaints.
Obviously, more expensive ukes would sound and feel even better. This is perfect for children or adults who want to try an ukulele.
Okay Ukelele
Just an okay ukelele. Nice as a gift.
It has been said: great for beginners
So I ordered this to start learning the uke. I wasn't sure that I'd stick with it so I didn't want to spend a lot. I gotta say it surprised me, I wasn't expecting it to have such a good sound. As some people have said, the strings are terrible. However I changed mine yesterday and it's really worth it, sounds much better. In the beggining I had some trouble with it staying in tune, but after a while, once the strings get some use, it stays quite nicely.
Definitely recommend it for beginners
ukelele
Bought this ukelele for my grandaughter and for the price its great for her to begin learning with. Its cheap and holds tune relatively well and I dont have to worry if it gets broken as for the price I would just buy another.Thanks.
ok! A decent uke for its price! I bought this for giving it as present to someone who's not even playing music! It normally happens as the majority of purchases "you get what you pay for"!
Good starting Ukulele
It's pretty good if you wanna start playing an instrument, but you might want to change the strings very fast to get a nice sound.
There is a lot of buzzing, easily fixable though.
