good starter pedal

Got to have tremelo in your setup? even if you're not a fan of the classic 50's 60's sounds this pedal can be used as a subtle undertone adding secret weapon.

very basic pedal but great starter trem. can be tricky to place in a big line up had some issues with how prominent it sounds depending on where it is in the signal path. overall perfect for home and small gig use.

Great value for the money!

I have various pedals on my board, and needed a tremolo pedal to add to the collection. In honesty, its an effect that I use sparingly and so didn't want to splash out on an expensive pedal. The Harley Benton Vintage Tremolo seemed to fit the bill and if I didn't like it then it was no great loss at that price.

These pedals are something else. I didn't really know whether to believe the hype behind them, but to my ears it sounds fantastic! I mean, where else are you going to get a true bypass pedal for this price. Its incredibly simple to operate. A tap tempo feature would be amazing on a future model if possible but other than that I can't complain!

Buy it!

Good value

Fantastic at the price. Missing from the documentation is that there are trim pots inside that you can change to alter the maximum of the intensity and the shape of the waveform related to the rate. This is not in the documentation with the pedal or in the download documentation.

It is documented in a you tube video related to a Joyo version of this pedal.

Other than that I like it. Once I turned the pots up I got the sound I was looking for: full on helicopter type tremolo. It does everything else in between also. The light is a nice touch which flashes in time with the rate so you can match it to the rythm of the song easily.

All in all great pedal for the price well happy with it.

What's the catch?

....well I've yet to find one. Still on my pedal board and still sounding great. Great vintage trem sound and dead simple to use. Doesn't suffer from the annoying volume drop that a lot of tremolo units seem to be have. A great buy, highly recommended.

True value for money!

Intuitive to use, no noise. Better tremolo pedals might be out there, but for this price it offers a super tremolo effect. The led indicator illuminates accordingly with the rate level. I use it with a power supply, so I cannot report on battery consumption.

The adhesive rubber protection below the pedal might be a little bit problematic if you want to attach the pedal to your board with velcro tape (I had to remove the rubber, in order to have the velcro adhering properly to the pedal)

inexpensive tremolo with hidden value

It is wel build.

Has good working sound controls . Switch and inputs are good, i don't wear army boots though.

There are a few tremolo sounds we are familiar with. Cheap pedals can't get all those sounds.

This one doesn't have a warm sound but more hard or square sounding. Very useful though in its own way. My settings are 12 o clock on the first knob and 3 o clock on the rate knob. Good for slow Portishead sounds. Specially with delay added.

The Harley Benton from this serie that i have are all wel made, not expensive and functional. So we can buy more pedals ;)

Edit:

I found out that inside there are two micro pots. volume and the effect. By ear you can change the effect from square to yes: warm rounded. Be careful, but it makes a big and great difference! great sound! Check youtube for demo's.

Big brands beware !

Awesome pedal, very sturdy metal casing, easy controls and superb sound quality.

Shows that it doesn't always have to be expensive to be good !

Not bad

Neither the best nor the worst tremolo ever made. Might be worth a shot if you're short of cash.

Good Basic Option

This isn't the fanciest tremolo in the world but it has it where it counts. That's in the sound. Both controls produce a good variation across their sweep. You'd be hard pushed to find better at the price

Good tremolo for the price

I did not expect much when I ordered this pedal so was pleasantly surprised. Still I considered it not to be a keeper. I found useful tremolo vibes for my use only from the last quarter end of both knobs. Faulty pedal or a feature? I think the latter since otherwise this pedal worked quite good. Metal case is sturdy but the switch feels a bit flimsy.

Good, cheap tremolo. Nothing more but definitely nothing less either. You'll get value for your money unlike with Behringers. I desired something more so my quest for a tremolo pedal continues.

Tremolo

This is a great value pedal and I'm happy with it. The range of depth and speed is quite limited but is suitable for a Fender amp style tremolo. It's perfect for the money, seems very sturdy.
