Great value and tone

This is as good a TS as any. Can't go wrong at this price and size. If you simply need a TS or if you want to test a TS in your rig, this a quality yet affordable answer.

My favourite

That's the pedal that I don't take of my board for YEARS. I love all the applications of the classic TS overdrive. I have the TS808 and TS9 and honestly the mini sounds amazing!

Works Perfect

Works perfect, meets the expectations

A close recreation in small form

The TS Mini pedal from Ibanez captures the iconic tube screamer sound, albeit with a slightly different tone from its larger counterparts. The difference is generally subtle, but there are instances where the high mids fall flat, especially when used with other overdrive pedals.

Despite this, the TS Mini is an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a compact pedalboard without sacrificing the classic tube screamer sound. The pedal's build quality and feel are top-notch, with no issues to report regarding the knobs.

However, one potential drawback to keep in mind is that the smaller knobs can be difficult to read and adjust on the fly. If you frequently tweak your settings during a performance, it may be worth considering a larger version of the tube screamer pedal.

The icing on the cake

Honestly this thing is fantastic, it makes absolutely everything sound better.

Tubescreamer in a small box

Housing may be small but offers the original Tube screamer tone. Fits perfectly in small pedal boards while not compromising from that original tone that we all love.

Small tone and level knobs can be difficult to read sometimes especially in low light conditions but it is just minor compromise, taking price and size into consideration.

Awesome pedal

I play it through the Orange TH 30 combo at badroom level at dirty chanel and it brings a life to the amp. Unfortunately, I live in apartment so I can't crank my amp which, when is cranked sounds realy great. But, at bedroom volume, without the tube screamer, something is missing to the sound. With tube screamer the sound is richer, fuller and has more creamear sound.

Timeless effect

This is such a classic effect that it’s difficult to say something new about it. I either use it as a boost with the gain at 9 o’clock or as a proper overdrive with the gain maxed out. It sounds great by itself and before a distortion, or in front of an amp on the edge of breaking up. You just have to be careful not to add too much mids, but it’s honestly quite versatile. The small knobs are indeed very small but to have this effect in such a small box (and great price) something had to give

Small, strange green and indispensable

The material is of good quality, it's like a tank, but I think the in/out screw is too long. As many people have mentioned, the tone and volume knobs are impossible to see because they are not marked. It is impossible to distinguish it from the normal 808 in terms of ton. Compared to the Ts9, I use the 808, which is more midsighted and sharper, as a boost with the Ts9 mod of the legendary Voodoolab Sparkle Drive Mod, and the result is: GORGEOUS... With that strange green color :) the pedal has an indisputable place, it never goes out of style...

It IS tubescreamer

Today mini pedals are doing perfect job and are the same sounding as bis ones, this TS is real thing.

Only one thing is UGLY - you'll never see tone and volume knobs settings unless you use magnifier, they didn't even paint white stripes

It's a classic

What's not to love! It's tiny, packs the same punch as the bigger sibling and looks cool. Can't go wrong with this quality at this price point!

Small and sturdy!

Don't let this pedal's size deceive you. This thing is built like a tank and works like a charm. Simple to use and gives a great hot, distorted signal.

Used as a shaper

I use it as a tone shaper into my Engl Fireball.

It could have been a bit fatter/deeper in it's response, but it's an ok trade off for the size of the pedal.

The smallest .. and the poorest of the Screamers

Size Matters. I fond these mini pedals to be a bit of a false economy. They take up marginally less space on the pedalboard but the small fiddly knobs are frankly a PITA. I recently revisited TubeScreamers and conducted a comparison test between the Ibanez and Maxon offerings.

This one came out in last place as being the most brittle sounding.
