K&M quality

I deducted one star for handling just because the boom is not a telescope boom and CAN get in the way in some applications. Other than that, nothing to complain. K&M stands have lasted easily for 10+ years in somewhat active use. They're sturdy and keep most mics in place reliably. It would be hard to run into a situation where you would expect a K&M stand to be able to hold a mic of a certain weight and it wouldn't.

Do not buy cheap stands, trust me. They do not last.

Microphone stand

One of the best Microphone stand. very stable stand, very good quality of manufacture. I use several such stands.

perfect durable mic stand

I've had this mic stand now for a few years. It's mostly at my studio, but sometimes I take it on location work and gigs. It's been knocked about quite a bit, but it almost even doesn't have any cosmetic damage, and it is fully functional. So it's very sturdy. It holds the mic quite steady, and doesn't even have a problem with a stereo bar and two heavy mics on it. And even though this is the version with the smaller feet, it is very stable in the studio and on stage.

the extendable boom makes it also very useable in close quarters.

Great Mic Stand

This is a great stand but it is as expected for a K&M product which I have always found to be great.

Strong, sturdy, reliable.

I've had this stand for a couple of years now and it still feels new. The build quality is great and its held every microphone I've tried on it, including the incredibly heavy Rode Nt2. These are great if you're looking for a reliable stand for live gigs or in the studio. Definitely recomended!

Fantastic Value for money

It is difficult to tell from the pictures, but the stand feels really secure and solidly built!

It can easily support heavy mics, and feels fairly heavy duty.

I've tried a few different lower priced stands and this one is by far the best.

Great for overhead

This is an awesome mic stand for doing overhead miking of a drum kit. Very sturdy and it also has a good reach. When its extended to its full length it still holds the mic quite well.

Practical long lasting mic stand

I've bought mic stands for have the price but the tightening parts seem to wear on them fairly quickly, I can tell this is more robust, higher quality and should last a lot longer, worth it.

beyerdynamic stand without the price tag

This is as good as the beyer dynamic stands i have bought in the past, and at a fraction of the price. Good Sturdy base, all fixtures and fittings work well, once it is set it is not going anywhere.

Reliable, well-made mic stands with great ease of use.

Having gone through a huge number of lesser mic stands thanks to lively and busy nightly concerts, our venue were on the lookout for much more durable options (without going to crazy prices, as the best stand in the world won't resist a 15 stone crowd surfer).

An engineer friend from across town spoke highly of these and rightly so. They are in as good condition now as they were when purchased and should we need more stands, our days of cutting corners are open. Whilst these might cost fractionally more in the moment, they more than justify it through ease of use and relaibility.

Simple Stand

This is a relatively light but robust stand. I've been gigging it for over two years now (at least 4 gigs per week) and NOTHING has broken on it. It handles very well and very simply. One handy levered screw to adjust the length and the angle of the boom shaft. One screw to adjust the legs. The legs are still as tight to fold in and out as when I got it. I'm very happy about that. There's a height adjuster for the straight shaft that I never need to adjust because I can achieve perfect height from the boom adjuster. There's also a mic holder screw atop the straight adjustable shaft. Handy for an instrument mic if you need one. The only adjustment I made to the stand was to glue on the rubber feet on to prevent them coming off and getting lost. You'll have to do this for most mic stands anyway.

I love K&M stands.

I love K&M stands. They are very strong and holds the mics and pop filters like a boss. Years back i just looked for something cheap, but then i understanded that mic stands cannot be cheap, because they have to do hard dirty work, so they have to be good quality stands that are strong and last long. K&M are not even the most expensive stands out there, but i think that they look good and do the job very Very good. I reccomend them to everybody, but i think that everybody is already using them :D I see them on every stage in my city and even on TV, so i think that that means something ...

Very good stand

This stand is very robust and sturdy. No cheap plastic here, and the important parts are all metal. I've used it in different situations (rehearsing, live and recording), and it made a good impression in all of them.

Definitely recommended for this prize.

Better in the long run

I went through a lot of micstands throughout the years and always made the same mistake: I just bought the cheapest I could get. Of course they all felt and looked like toys and wore out after a year or two...

The few extra bucks I spent on this one show themselves to be a good investment.

This stand has quality screws and is very sturdy and makes a very good overall impression.
