Can't beat for the price

Unit is excellent clone of the 1176, same functionnalities and controls, and althought it does not add the same flavor/tone to your sound as an original Urei unit, it does a "as good" if not better then most clones of 76 out there. a must for all home studios

Pros: accessibility and features

cons: none, unless you expect the exact Urei/UA sound at the tenth of the price...

Great Piece Of Kit

Recently used the KT76 on vocals and bass and boy does it make it pop, this is a great compressor although at 199 Euros its well worth the bang for buck

Best value for money

I am using it in vocal recordings. It is very easy to get a good sound. It compresses the signal with a very nice and musical way, while keeping the performance "in your face".

The knobs feels expensive and the VU meter looks amazing.

The only cons is that there is no bypass button to do an A/B test.

I am suggesting this compressor as a very good upgrade to your studio setup and in this price (205) is for sure a steel!
