Noisy ?

Mine is noisy when I put it on the pedalboard. Also noisy with a battery. I also noticed it changes the tone a little (it really shouldn't)..I don't understand why.

I will edit my review when I try it with a different power supply.

The manual says 600mA PSU minimal and maybe that's the problem - I don't have 600mA (but who does??). The screen probably is the reason for such big power needs.

*EDIT: There's no noise on 500mA PSU but the pedal pops (loud click noise) when engaged. I don't recommend this tuner.

Also when I'm drunk I can't remember if I have to aim for the green line or the blue line on the display when tuning.

**EDIT 2: After using it for a couple of months... I got used to it. It doesn't pop anymore since I made some changes on the pedalboard (i don't know what helped exactly). I used it live ..the display is bright and good. But I still have trouble reading the lines so I think my tuning is slower than it could be. It's a good tuner overall

Bad things - 500 mA needed for the display

- lines on the display hard to read for people with eye problems

Accurate, clear and easy to use

I use this on my pedaboard for bass guitar. It tracks very well even down to a low B, has a large bright clear display with various readout options, and is very solidy built. There's a power through socket which can be handy when plumbing in an extra pedal. A very good tuner.

Perfectly readable and precise

Fantastic display for the older eye. Precise enough to fine-tune the bridge setup for proper intonation.

I also liked the pass-through of DC power to feed other pedals on the board.

Lovely

A really nice bold tuner. Great onstage, super visible.

The Different settings for the method of tuning are neat.

I've always gone Korg for 30 years with regard to tuners rather than Boss.

I much prefer the huge screen this has.

Great tuner

Great pedal tuner with high accuracy and some display modes (some are more sensitive than others). Overall great buy but for the price it could have been made of metal not just plastic. Nevertheless it looks sturdy and works perfectly.

Of of the best

Very precise, convenient and robust tuner. With my far from perfect eyesight, I can easily use it without glasses. Also, it looks very innovative to me. Highly recommended.

Best tuner I ever had

Completely honest review, from frustrated low tuning guitar player :)

I am extremely positively suprised how accurate and fast this tuner is. Especially with tuning drop tunings (standard A tuning and drop G). On standard guitar tunings, it's extremely precise, up to 1 cent precision. On low A string I managed to get precision within +-2 cent difference. To be honest, it's almost impossible to get more precise than that with low tuned guitars. Harmonics also very easy to measure.

Has multiple modes, both needle and strobe tuner (bare in mind, this is not a strobe tuner, but it can act like one), and hybrid modes in between, kind of combination of both worlds. One that I use the most is these hybrid combos, as I like strobe tuners a lot!

Quality wise, a pedal is tough and really well built, for heavy duty guitarists. Lighting on the pedal is amazing, it shows very clear from different angles. Light is also very bright and nice to see on stage. Fits within pedal boards very nice. I haven't used yet cable power management, but I do not doubt it works just as fine.

Finally, I have found a really precise tuner for the not insane amount of money! I recommend this to anyone who was having troubles with tunings, especially in studio work! Never get out of tune again ;)

Best tool

Probably the first pedal a bass player should get :,D well, it is a great tuner as all Korg tuners before it. Great visibility too and because of the 3D stuff happening in it my guitar player could see from another side of stage that I'm in tune (bass player jokes). DC out is a nice feature and I power 5 pedals from it. A+

Best pedal tuner ever

Apart from working flawlessly and with exceptional precision, you would expect nothing less from a Korg product, this tuner's biggest pro is its great visibility. Almost all of its surface is a big display where you can see the note being played and its intonation.

In addition to that, as said in the beginning the tuner is very accurate also for the low B bass string, unlike many of Korg's competitors' tuners.

I've bought this because I was looking for a non polyphonic, a utility I don't think useful on bass, solid tuner which could handle a bass' low B, a note my TC Polytune (otherwise great on guitars) struggled with.

The true bypass switch is also dead silent, with no pop when pressed.

Awesome Tuner

This tuner pedal is just great, aside from the awesome 3D effect (which is just so cool!) it is very accurate and has really good tracking, miles better than my old Boss TU-2. It also seems to be really well made.

The Main reason I bought this pedal is because I do a lot of tuning whilst sitting (things like truss rod adjustments and changing strings on floating trem guitars, etc.), and with my old TU-2 I found the form of the housing would block part of the display making it hard to read from a low angle (i.e: sitting), with the 3D display on the Korg this is now so easy.

I should mention that I have no idea how good it sounds running the signal through it as I use it on my pedalboard where it is only connected to the tuner out of my Boss ES-8 Switcher.

One problem I discovered is the the 9v through/out is completely useless as it created a high-pitch whine with every other pedal I tried.

All in all it's a great tuner and the 3D display alone makes it worth buying, but then again so does the accuracy and tracking.
