Very good product

This pedalboard is great for someone who wants to begins his journey in the digital pedals world. It has a really crisp sound and it is very easy to use. It also depends what kind of headphones you are using. I use the XM4s and it is very good so far. I haven't dived too deep into this device so I have a lot of work to do still.

Just amazed

Probably the best buy I did ever. I saw many positive videos but I couldn't believe that was so good this pedal before I played with it.

It saved my hands and back because I don't curry my amplifier with me now, and when you play in different events for six months every single night, it makes huge difference.

With all those ready sounds you can get (some for free and some for a logical price ) you don't need to bother to fix your own sounds.

Typical Line 6 Coloured Tones

I bought this on a whim having always used BOSS units, currently using a GT1000

It does what it says and it is very powerful but the same reason I could not get on with the original pod is still very much there.

It colours the instrument too much robs the guitars natural character, dont get me wrong the tones it produces are superb but they are what I would call the line6 sound, not your tone.

Weakest effect is the overdrive and distortions.

So its up for sale

Stunning piece of gear!!

Let me tell you, i'm more of a "guitar to pedals and amp" guy and i wasn't a big fan of modeling amps and effects. After i read some articles about how far the modeling has gone and how close to the real thing sounded and after some videos i saw, i decided to pull the trigger on the pod go!! And i didn't regret it to the slightest!! The stock patches weren't so good, but once i started to get the handle of it, i was really able to sculpt tones that were exactly what i wanted and how i wanted them!! Tones from favorite records, or custom sounds that i dreamed about now were a reality!! I was totally blown away by this pedalboard!! The interface is really easy to understand and you will start experimenting and making custom patches in a few minutes after unboxing!! Furthermore this thing is really robust and built like a tank!! I totally recommend it!!

Nice multi-effect with reasonable price

I decided to resume playing electric guitar when the pandemic started, but didn't want to invest large amount of money. I bought an Ibanez S570AH electric guitar and the Line6 Pod GO multi-effect and it has been a perfect set for me personally. Pod GO allows creating any style of sound I have wanted so far and I can make it sound great to my ears. I only use patches which I have made from scratch by picking a virtual pedal for each slot and tuning them to my liking. I would have not guessed how much I like this board and how much I wound be spending time with it. The only downside has been couple of annoying bugs in the firmware, although I don't remember seeing them for a long time so they are likely already fixed in the current firmware. Overall, a great buy. Recommended.

Low-Price and High-Quality? Come and get it!

Hardware:

- The pedalboard itself has a very well-made construction in very resistant steel in addition to very firm and solid switches. Which gives the impression of stepping on a category A pedal, such as the Kempers.

- The LCD screen was also very well put together and the layout of the buttons and their usability transform the simple experience of editing an effect.

Software:

- The pedal board software was very well developed, and it has mechanics of use similar to what they did on the Helix, which is very cool and very advantageous for a pedalboard of this price.

- Very simple to edit and assemble your presets, save them and even back up your pedalboard. As a result, trading effects with my friends has become a hobby.

PodGo Edit:

- I tested the Windows version and didn't find great things there. The GUI part needs some finishing touches on the UI-UX layer. Furthermore, it is simple and intuitive to use. You can quickly set your effect, test it on the fly, and save it to your pedalboard.

- It fulfils its objective very well in simplicity, but it is not one of the most beautiful on the market.

Cost vs. Benefit:

- To be honest, I saw very little difference between it and Helix (apart from the fact that Helix has a greater number of presets and even slightly higher quality in the hardware). So, if I were going to buy a new pedalboard today, I would go with the PodGO.

- In my humble opinion it was worth every penny, and I still think this pedal is being marketed very cheaply, for what it offers to end consumers.

Perfect!

My band practices/preforms with in-ears and I finally decided to make a transition to amp modelling for simplicity sake.

The PodGo works amazingly for all of my use cases (including the occasional acoustic gig or recording bass!)

It is very easy to use and there are plenty of resources out there to walk you through every functionality. Any type of sound you want to achieve you can find it! (And if not loading 3rd party IRs is a breeze)

I could not recommend this unit more!!

Great for all needs

I've had this product for coming close to a year. The sound quality is quite impressive. I've used this for acoustic gigs and with a full band and the versatility of this unit is great. I never ran into any issues with the pod Go and would recommend to all beginners looking to go into digital processors.

Perfect tone on a budget

This unit has everything you need to achieve a pro tone, by simulating a full basic guitar rig. You won't get the freedom and processing power of the Helix units, but this pedal actually uses the HX algorithms and therefore the sound quality is perfect.

Very great pedal

This is my first pedal ever and I love it. After few months of using it I can say that it is very intuitive, easy to use and it works great. I didn't have any problems so far. I am using it for performance and recording, you can make great sound with it.

Only one thing is a little bit sketchy and that is power button. It is very sensitive if you touch it when it's turned on. If you bump very gently, it might turn off for a millisecond.

Good multi effect

The only drawback I noticed was the sound interruption when changing the preset. This can be solved by using snapshots, but it is not an ideal solution. Everything else is fine, I have no complaints.

Very FUNKtional

First of all - I´m a pedal guy. But I also like this kind of multieffects like Pod Go. It is very practical, little, not heavy, just put it in the backpack and you are ready to play. Have a lot of everything - FX, amps, boxes and much more. I got Headrush before, also nice, but pretty big, and the sounds were a little bit plastic. I belive the Pod Go has much more. No, itś not a tube amp, but it´˝ s very closed. You can not expect the same sound, but you can create a lot of very good and useful sounds. For studio and live. The only minus is, when you change sound between playing, you can hear some kind of click. This changing is not smooth enough. Otherwise - worth it´s money.

Pod go Review

This unit is amazing, sounds as good as the full-size helix and for most people is more than enough the number of pedals it offers in simultaneous use. Absolutely recommend, especially if you are looking for a cheap rig that sounds amazing or a bedroom practice partner.

Helix quality at a budget price!

Instead of hauling my whole rig to everywhere I play at, I almost exclusively use this anymore! The POD GO does use Helix modeling and effects so you will get the same quality, the main difference is you can't run parallel chains and you only have 6 effects available at a time. However, the amp modeling is accurate so I will be integrating this with my large pedalboard in the future to see how that works!

The best part I think about this is the editing software. It is so intuative and allows you to really fine tune your sound!

Life-saving live rig!

It's super practical, has huge sound quality and it has a really cool price tag! It has the essential Helix effects, but in a small, compact and ready-to-go package. The fact that I can use it as an interface as well, and manage to download any plugin I want and upload it to the POD Go, is such a cool touch. If you're looking to upgrade your rig for the first time after a while, PLEASE get this. I highly recommend it.

Great sounds

If - like me - you hail from a time when guitarists were fumbling around with massive pedal boards and large amps was the only option, then you cannot help being amazed at this very versatile bit of equipment. The amps are cool... so many of them. The straight-to-audio sounds is great. The effects are as good as anything I have heard, pretty much. Controlling the thing on the pedal itself is a bit awkward, and I found myself using the software and the USB cable more often, frankly. But it is a great unit.

Not quite there yet

As expected, this pedal can be a quite useful tool and also drive you crazy.

The good thing is that you can find some decent sounds in it. It obviously has some limitations to number of effects you can use, but still - it is possible to achieve OK clean and excellent overdrive sounds.

One thing I was not able to achieve were convincing break-up sounds... Also, I can't shake the feeling that this unit has a "sound of its own"; that characteristic Line6 nasal, mid-heavy tone.

I couldn't get rid of it, so I got rid of the POD go.

First Class Product

Ignore the factory presets, they are pretty poor generally but if you spend some time with this unit developing your own sounds, it will be rewarding! There are lots of videos on youTube which help you understand how it works and walk through setting presets etc, the best advice I would give is pick an amp/or amps you like or are familiar with and build it up from there! There is more choice than most will ever require,( some argue too much) so focussing on a few and starting from scratch worked for me! As usual with multi effect units, getting the levels right is an issue ie between home use and performance use ,but it just takes a bit of tweaking. The quality of the sounds though are first class!

I wanted the PodGo for both recording and live use and this swayed my choice away from the Helix Stomp, ( which is also fantastic) additionally the greater processing power and output configurations were not necessary for me.
