Ok value for the money

Bought a replacement because original one failed after two years of intense use.

Quality could be better. After a while battery cover gets wimpy and as result you get power down on transmitter. Using batteries that are just a bit oversized vs. regular does help solving problem. Usually that are the rechargeable ones.

A spare transmitter for my wireless

I purchased a Line6 Relay G55 wireless about a year ago, and I have been super satisfied in it. The relay normally comes with a single transmitter, and I quickly figured out that it would be nice to have two, for two different guitars. Saves all the hassle on a gig if you have to change the instrument which uses the same amp and such. I also use these at home, and it's nice to move freely when rocking around the living room.

This spare transmitter is similiar to the one which came with the receiver unit. I use two rechargeable 2300 mAh batteries, which last 10-12 hours - enough for any gig really. Of course, it's wise to also have normal batteries with you just in case. Both the receiver and the transmitter have a battery life indicator which gives you a clue when it's time to change the batteries.

I've played a few gigs with these, and I can highly recommend the Line6 Relay wireless to anyone really. It has a great tone, long operational range and it's highly reliable - there's never been any kind of interruption during playing, not counting empty batteries :). I find this product very affordable too.
