Awesome finish, joy to play

Pretty good and playable bass, red finish looks awesome.

I mostly use it in passive mode and it is pretty capable and the sound is awesome. Tbh all that pots on preamp are a bit overkill for me. I wish it just has passive mode.

UPDATE after 6 mouths of owning I needed to return the bass because of the neck issues. Strings were buzzing and it couldn't be adjusted with trust rod. Thanks to awesome customer support I got a replacement.

Positive things:

- very comfortable and fast neck

- nice tone

- joy to play

Negative:

- it is heavy - comparing to my trbx505 it is noticeable difference

- quality, neck has rough fret edges and it could be done bit better, fret levelling would help

a banger bass

This is my first bass and to be honest I could not have asked for anything better. I've tried diffrent basses in shops, borrowed some from friends for practice and also did a LOT of research and in conclusion it seems to me that the price/quality ratio is really right with this one. It looks astonishing and sounds even better, it's really versatile with the built-in preamp. But the real dealmaker for me is how comfortable it is for me to play. The neck is nice and smooth and the edges are nicely rounded so your hand can slide back and forth with ease. The only downside I can find is that this bass is a heavy one and since I usually practice standing up I sometimes (rather rarely) experience backaches.
