Surprisingly big sound!

At first i switched it on and realised that i needed to turn up the tone on both the amp and guitar a bit, however the thing that shocked me the most was when i turned the overdrive on. I was blown away by how loud it was after that. The micro amp is insanely light and can be carried practically anywhere. I also love how i can do quiet practice sessions too with the amp's headphone connection!

Fantastic product for anyone in need of a portable and amplifier

The Marshall MS-2 Micro Amplifier is a fantastic product for anyone in need of a portable and reliable amplifier for their guitar. As a compact and lightweight device, it's incredibly easy to carry around, making it an ideal option for anyone looking to practice on the go or perform in small venues.

Despite its size, the MS-2 packs a punch, with a surprising amount of volume and distortion available for such a small device. It also has a built-in headphone jack, which is perfect for private practice sessions, and an aux-in jack for playing along with your favorite songs.

The only potential downside is that the MS-2 is powered by a 9V battery, which may need to be replaced frequently if used frequently. However, this is a minor issue considering the overall convenience and quality of the product.

Overall, I highly recommend the Marshall MS-2 Micro Amplifier to any guitarist in need of a portable, reliable, and powerful amplifier. It's a great investment for beginners and seasoned players alike

Great little amp!

Yes, the sound quality on the clean channel is not very clean but all in all, it's a great mini amp, good enough for practice here and there. It also works well with headphones. Of course, it is not as good as proper amps, but for the size and the price, it's really good.

top notch product for the price

for an incredibly affordable amp it is very worthwhile and ideal for casually playing or practicing at home without the hassle of a full sized amp

Awesome tiny friend

Regarding its size and price, the sound can't be perfect.

But it's amazing for traveling or mobility in general. The volume of sound is more than I expected.

Totally love it.

Not a total gimmick

I wanted one of these when I was in secondary school and finally decided to get one to sit on top of my 70's Marshall stack.

I was surprised by the sound, weight and overall build quality. It's great as a little personal practice app and cheaper than a meal out.

Terrible buzzing above minimum volume

At any level that suggest the sound breaking up a very dominant buzzing all over. Does not sound like on any demos on the www, maybe i got a broken one? Will probably not return as it is too much hassle outside Germany

Pretty cool little amp, feel like Jack Black in The School of Rock!

Mini amp with a sound that kicks

It might look small with limited settings: volume, tone and overdrive, but is surprisingly loud and you can get some great sounds from its settings. Great to practise with in a room or on the move, or just for an amateur to use that kicks with sound but saves on storage space. With the volume up high it does give some fuzzing but that is all part of the fun. Works fine with an electric acoustic Fender Uke Strat.

Good!

Obviously, it's not a rel amp. Although, it's good for it's purpose, wich is to allow the freedom to play anywhere. Nice!

Little bang for the buck

It seems kind of expensive for an amp that does very little. The overdrive doesn't really drive and the tone it gives isn't clear. It would be fine by me if it were 20% cheaper.

Overall: meh

Cheap portable amp

It's very small and can be used with a standard 9V powercell. After a while the chassis started to make noises. I was able to solve the issue by sticking some dampening stuff in it.

The sound is, as you would expect, pretty bad, but it sure is enough to rock outside for a bit or if you're somewhere where you can't take your actual amp with you.

It's pretty loud as well. It'll be heard in the whole room .

Marshall MS-2

I purchased this because "I want a Marshall amp", this small amp is amazing. The clean sound is very clean, the Overdrive is very dirty.

the 9v battery compartment held the battery - just, when the cover is released the battery easily falls out.
