Pretty good strings

Those strings were pretty good for my simple use, felt easy to play. The mandolin i had wasn't that good but at least those ones ,made it a little better when changing from the factory strings

Cheap and sound good

Clear and crisp sound. Sounds good for the traditional folk chops, good for celtic music as the sound is almost "sparkling" clear, yet provides a decent midrange (come on, we're talking about mandolin, there really is no bass in the sound anyway). Are there better stings available? Totally. For this price though? Nope as far as I know.

Used as default strings for a Harley Benton Mandolin

I used these strings to replace the factory strings that came with the Harley Benton Mandolin. These strings have the loop ends so in theory should be a little easier to catch on the hooks of the tailpiece end. Compared to the factory strings it was like night and day. Firstly the colour of these strings was so much brighter, nice and bronze, as opposed to dull and grey of the factory. The sound of these was also so much more pleasing. It was definitely a vast improvement, and well worth the money. I would suggest that if you do purchase a HB Mandolin in particular get a couple sets of these strings at the same time. One set to immediately replace factory strings, and one set as a back up..

Mandoline strings

Well made with nice tight twists at the loops. Sound quality does not seem to last the same as years ago, but a great product at a great price.
