I bought these to pair with a recently purchased Harly-B HBMA-100 VS f-style mandolin ( a wonderful instrument, especially given its price)

what can I say.. great quality strings,.. as you might expect from Martin... bright, resonant, vibrant and true...clear and sweet... also excellent value.. will definitely purchase more in the future.

Bright ringy bluegrassy chimey...I don't know..I like them that I know..just a novice on the mandolin but Martin strings are my faves...

We use a lot of Martin strings on guitar and mandolin and these are as good a s the guitar strings. Clear and bright and well made. It says Martin on the box...

Martin Mandolin strings

As a first time Mandolin player I decided to go with a household name for a change of strings on my Harley Benton mandolin. The stock strings were very good and brought out the very good tone of the mandolin, however once I changed them for the Martin strings the sound is now absolutely stunning. I decided to go for this manufacturer as I have used Martin strings on my guitars before and have never been let down, so a bit of the devil you know theory used here.

Mandoline light long lasting strings

These strings are great for the price. The sound is clear and bright and stays like that for a long time. I find you need to stretch them a little when you first put them on but they hold tuning well, which is very important with mandolin tuning. These were used on a few albums and they have lasted well, regardless of price

do their job.

I don't play mandoline that often, so i just searched for some strings, which bring some life back to that beautiful instrument.

I like the sound of the strings and they work fine for month for me.

For beginners definietly recommended
