Seriously happy with this cab when it arrived I had expected more than one package but the 2 extras I bought were in the cab box so don't go swearing you haven't received everything before you fully check the box. It not exactly the smallest or the largest cabinet I have ever seen and looks great on the side with a tubemeister 36 sitting on top of it. I spent heaps of time going over which cab to get and lets face it there are cheaper cabs with 2 x vintage 30's in them. There is no way that they have this build quality and the closed back just makes them sound amazing. I was looking at getting greenback speakers but the extra watts and range of sound just was better for me in the end. i would of liked a handle or more on the side the cab as it can be very cumbersome to walk around with...

This thing is built like a tank, I'm definitely not afraid to take this one on the road, unlike my Orange 2x12 which got damaged even though I am very careful with my gear. I bought it to use with a 6505mh, and I was worried that maybe it wasn't going to be enough to gig with it since the 6505mh is a 20w amp. Boy was I wrong, this thing gets LOUD. I also tried to reamp a guitar track in my studio just to mess around with it and it takes no effort to get this thing to sound great. With the Orange cab it took a lot of work with the mic placement to get it to sound right, but put a 57 anywhere in front of this cab and it sounds massive.

setup : Engle Fireball 25 - HESU M2x12 STD- Gibson Les Paul Custom (no pedals) This cabinet is : - lightweight compared to my previous cabs, well constructed and compact. - Fitted with Demon Speakers that are capable of delivering pristine tone. Perfect for Rock/Metal even though these speakers can do it all. I don’t exclusively play metal music , alt-rock, blues and ‘quieter’ styles of guitar based music are also part of my repertoire and these speakers sound great in any style. Overall a great addition to my set up, definitely one to consider if you’re shopping for a cabinet.

This + a Screamer Combo = wonderfulness! The cabinet sounds quite warm with a very nice and solid low-mid and bass. The highs are defined without being excessive - paired with the 2x12 in the Screamer combo the resulting sound is quite complete, as the combo has less lows but a bit more brilliant highs. The only two negative things I can think of is weight and maneuverability under transport. Both of which I solved with some coaster wheels on the back edge plus a telescope handle fixed to the back. Good buy!

i bought this cab at the beginning of 2020 and now it has been more than a year. i am using it under my marshall jvm 410h. home user. before this one i was using a Fame 2x12 v30 cab and i was thinking it was equivalent to every standard v30 cab. after this one came i couldnt believe my ears. marshall cab was clearer on both hi and low ends. i compared the 1936v vs Fame cab under other amp heads but no they were definitely not sounding same, then i planned to move celestion v30 speakers in my old Fame cab to restore another old marshall cabinet and i gave up for selling it because i think marshall is using a different type of v30s produced specially for them by celestion, as written on speakers. also 1936v sounds different than mesa 2x12 cabs, which also use a special produced celestion...

Line6 Powercab 212 Plus

I got this to work in a live and in a studio situation. It seamlessly connects to my podhd500x and also to the Yamaha pa system that I use via the stereo outs. The sounds that I have created on my podhd500x are now sent accurately to the audience and to me (when the 212 plus is used as a monitor). If you want you can even add another amp of your choice from the array of loaded cabs or use it in flat more to replicate the sound leaving your pedals/floorboard. I love it and although more expensive than the 112 version this can has stereo as a feature which for me makes this a fantastic speaker/monitor. I perform a lot live and perform everything from pop to steve via and this handles every genre that I can think of throwing at it. This piece of kit has many more features than I have used up...

I bought this instead of the V30 version because I'm a hipster. I could never dial my sound the way I wanted to so I swapped the speakers for G12H30 (greenbacks) and immediately I got the sound I wanted. I've only played one cab and 2 types of speakers, really. Once I swapped the speakers I was happy. I think the cab sounds amazing with my new speakers. I ran a boss katana through it and now I have a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50w. Cab is great, I have no complaints. I gave it 4 stars in sound because of the speakers, not the cab.

Orange PPC212

And I don't mean that in a bad way. What I mean is that with this kind of gear you can't really go wrong, Orange has always been a little too pricey for my taste but at the same time has always and always will deliver great instruments. I chose the closed back one mostly because I was looking for something that would give me rich basses and clarity at the same time. I compared it with a 1x20 from a friend of mine and you can really hear the difference on the clarity and precision of the sound, it's as if the smaller cab tends to be more muddy (which is not a bad thing if you're looking for that kind of sound). Also, I chose the PPC212 C.B. because it's made in England. Pros: huge sound, clarity, built like a tank. Cons: too pricey

It is early for me to give a detailed review of this item as I just got it 3 days ago, however I will share what was my thought process when I chose this cabinet and what I think of it so far. I wanted a cabinet that can sound great for live application while playing mostly metal, I wanted it to be portable without sacrificing tone and I wanted it to be suitable of recording metal at home. The cabinet certainly sounds big, it pushes air in your face due to it's closed back and delivers a great punch for crushing metal rhythm chugs. I did not expect that from a 212 (expecting less punch), however I am glad i went with this option as for me it sounds as powerful as a 4x12. Regarding the size, it has about 30 Kg's, fits on the back of a car, can be carried by one person and also comes with...

Evh 5150 III 2x12 Straight Cab BK

Evh 5150 III 2x12 Straight Cab BK

This is probably the most versatile 2x12 cab. It provides you with with a very clear and rich sound - all the way from the low to high frequencies. A good choice for all situations - being used in rehearsals, live performances, studio recordings. Was a bit afraid of only 60W power rating, however, there were no problems when using a 100W hi-gain head, it is capable of giving away much more power than though before buying. A very versatile cab, also including a great feature to angle it in the way where it works well as a monitor when playing live. The way it is built also provides a lot of confidence and a feel of quality. All in all - definitely not a regret and you get much more for a very reasonable price you pay!
