Millenium DS-30 Reviews
Neat little desk stand
I use this with a Superlux microphone to record studio interviews for radio broadcast. Does what it says on the box.
Perfect small stand
Bought this as a sort of a backup stand just in case if small stand is needed. Did not use it really until our last 2 gigs where it showed all the power. Once I used it as a table mic stand and it done its job just fine and next time our drummer used it to mount microphone to the cayon.
Now obviously I will have to buy a new one :)
versatile and compact
I bought this stand to live in my rucksack alongside my Rode M2 (used for voice of god and and as a lead vox mic) and to use with my ECM with SMAART, its a good height to put on a desktop, and is a good height for someone to use when seated. seems sturdily built and fits nicely into my (usually very full) rucksack. Nice and light too
excellent
I'm using this for my home studio with a Audix Fireball V microphone for harmonica.
The tripod stays on my table when I'm playing acoustic or down on the floor to record my amp.
The build quality is excellent and the tripod is very stable.
Good little mic stand
This little tripod is all I expect from a desk stand.
I love how it's designed to be ready to use in one move.
For what it offers it's very reasonably priced.
Millenium mic stand
This is a sturdy little mic stand for a very reasonable price. It is very handy in my small home studio, where there is a limited amount of space. The mic mounts easily and securely.
Nice size, well made for price - good for adjustable desks.
For the moment, I do all my audio at a sit-stand desk and I like that this is both portable and capable of enough adjustment that - with the desk -is pretty flexible. I'm using with a pop filter and ScarlettStudio; good value. My only small comment to the negative would be that the forward tilt/lock mechanism isn't that firm in terms of locking into place.
A good piece of kit to have for the bed room recording artiste. I got this when I was moving around and it made my work flow much easier. I dig it.
More than you paid for
It's good value for money, but not remarkable in anyway. It does what it's supposed to, and is reasonably well put together. Fine for studio, and other low risk setups. Don't expect it to live through a tour with Slipknot.
good quality
nice sturdy mic stand, good price and quality.
size is perfect for desks or for reaching speakers of guitar amp, smaller size than regular tripod designed mic stands
will order more if needed, would recommend
perfect little microphone stand
This microphone stand has a very small footprint .
On small stages in front of amplifiers it takes up less space then a normal small stand.
It also does a good job at being a table microphonestand.
it folds away nicely into a very small package.
overall a lot of little usefull stand for not a lot of money.
i give it a full five star rating.
