Good and big!

It makes the job especially ror it's money! Big enough with double bass pedal fitting fine, but sometimes the sensor doesn't respond. With one pedal if the hitting is strong works fine! Very good!

Product is good, Get a module with sensitivity settings though.

Dropped a star as you need a decent module to be able to monitor the sensitivity of the hits that you apply to it.

Works fine with my Alesis Multipad but it's not beneficial to starter kits like the Alesis Debut, where it becomes unpredictable and is only triggered when you have to drive a lot of power in to your bass pedal for it to work.

Good if you want to get a larger pad

Good sized kick Pad and fits a double pedal.

A solid kick pad

-Much Bigger than expected > sizes HxWxD 47x26x26cm. I was expecting a smaller form pedal to match my existing kit (a compact DDRUM) but I guess it's only a visual matter.

-Don't use light color felt pad beater > rather use plastic/wood or (dark) rubber instead. I started using it with my old felt beater which immediately left some lint on the pad surface (which I wasn't able to remove.) Next day I bought a plastic beater.

-No instructions included (not really needed but...at least technical parameters would be a nice addition.)

-Very stable, heavy, metal, with anti-slip velcro straps and clamps for maximum stability.

-Works also with older drum modules (tried with Simmons.)

-Excellent also as practice pad.

E-Drum Kick Bass Pad

I use it on my Yamaha DTX Multi 12 E-Drums pad.

It does its job.

After some use, the pad surface started to wear.

I recommend the use of a Bass Drum Head Protection.

Good cheap replacement

I bought this kick pad almost a year ago to replace my Alesis mesh pad that so far has broke at least once a year.

It's more sturdy, reliable and way cheaper than the original but it won't give you the same feel, the impact it's definetely harder and louder and you'll probably need to decrease the trigger sensibility on your module (at least in my case, every hit was super loud at the beginning even if I barely touch the pad)

If you need something cheap or a temporary replacement go for it.

Good item

This is not bad item, but it has false positives during the play and a bit loud for a flat. I don't want to disturb my neighbours with my drums.

Luckily I put some textile under the rubber plate and this removed any false positives

Does the job

gives a good signal electronically but its pretty noisy acoustically. Also be sure to use a plastic beater as i used felt once and its still got marks from it

(used with alesis samplepad pro)

Bass drum trigger pad

The drum pad works well with my electric kit as an add on for different sounds.

Bass drum pedals fit great on the bracket.

Playing surface is great and can easily use a double pedal.
