You can't ask more in this price

You get what you pay.

For the price this preamp does its job. Of course if you try to max the volumes you' ll get some distortion but it does a great job as a simple headphone pre-amp

Aint pretty, but..

After all, it isn´t the looks your after when it comes to this kind of products and it does what it is supposed to very well with excellent sound quality. No problems to drive my K240:s that are notoriously hard on headphone amplifiers.

Not Impressed with Sound Quality

I bought this for "Silent Studio" band practice and for home recording projects. I was not impressed with the sound quality. It distorted and crackled when turned up. The rubber feet things at each each detached very easily too. I purchased a Behringer HA4700 which did a much much better job.

Great box for low impedance H/P's

I tried this out as a backup H/P amp within my studio, but it's unable to power high impedance headphones, avoid if you plan on using it in with DT100's etc.

Otherwise, the unit is solid and the features are good.

Workhorse

No bells and whistles, for vol. knobs. Been using it for 5 years now. And it's been dropped countless times. But still no one sign of breaking. Only downside is the small size. With four headphones + the stereo out it's hard to place it on a table

OK, but only mono when used with a guitar or bass

This product is ok, but if you use it to plug in a guitar or bass the sound is mono (it only comes through one side of the headphones). It is pretty good build quality for the money though, so you can't really complain at this price.

Excellent, works great, individual volume controls on the headphone outs, great piece of kit.

I bought one of these for the first time around 3 years ago and for the money it is one of the best buys I ever made. I have used it in both live and recording situations and it has never left me down.

Good deal

The Millenium HA 4 doesnt' have a lot of special features, but it does exactly what it should. Four headphones can be connect via stereo TRS to a single source, each of the channels has it's own dedicatedvolume knob. It's ideal for small recording sessions where you don't need different mixes for the performers.

For little money you get a solid unit with easy-working volume pots and acceptable amplification. Of course you can't expect high end sound, but for me it works well e.g. to record additional tracks to our rehearsal room recordings. Depending on your setup and your headphones you might need a few adapters, but that shoulddn't be a problem.

Because of its metal casing and rubber paddings it is also well suited for mobile and outdoor applications. For this kind of money, you really can't go wrong.

Very good for the price

This item does exactly what i says on the tin, I use it for band practices where each instrument is mic'd up and each band member can use this to adjust their own headphone volumes. This product feels very sturdy and will likely last a long time. The knobs also feel to be of a very high quality.

The only disadvantage of this product which should be noted by buyers in the UK is that it comes with a european plug so an adapter must be used for this to work with UK plugs.

Other than this I would definitely recommend it for the price to anyone looking for a headphone amp. I would also be easier if the headphone outputs were small jack plugs as it wouldn't require an adapter for most headphones to be used.

great little unit...for price

Was surprised by quality of this,metal casing and thick rubber heels,having four independent headphone mixes is great at this price...AC adapter is very light,which is my only concern..all in all unit is well made. knobs are sturdy and its neat and small...

Value for money

This is a no frills product but it does it's job, and I have had no issues with it.

Seems sturdy and should take whatever knocks I give it in the studio.

little headphone amp

This amplifier has some good rubber protection, that help to stay fixed on the pc desk while using it, its four output channel help to share the listening (or you con use different headphone on your tracks ie. one for monitoring, one less balanced to actually listen to the music).

The adapter is small and the cord is long enough.

The level of amplification is not much high but no extra noise is added.

Good priceworthy product

I have two of these headphone amplifiers, this one and an older model. When you record songs with more than two peoples you really need them. A useful feature is that everyone can chose the volume he or she likes or the volume his headphones need. The haptics are definately a big plus, i love the potentiometers handling. Moreover i like the design of the little brick. Simple and useful.

Only disadvantage: the power supply of the older model once just killed itself in an act of spontaneous combustion. The smell was awful and i had to give it away. I don't know how that could happen. But despite of that I like it.

Decent quality for a good price

Regarding the low price, the good build quality and the satisfying sound, this Headphone Amplifier earns a very good overall rating.

None of the potentiometers produce any cracking or disturbing noises, they work very smooth and the overall sound is very satisfying, I never really heard any loss in sound quality. I use this amp with Beyerdynamic Dt-770 250 Ohm headphones and there is still a huge loudness reserve in that amp.

An ON/OFF switch would come in handy rather than pulling the powercable out.

Good accessorie

I use this little accessorie connected to a small mixer when I play at home with some friends. This way we all have individual volume control to listen as louder as we want without bothering the neighbors or anyone in the house.

Simple, cheap, and does the job!

Bargain

Don't buy any other multi headphone amp. This is very compact and works perfectly. One thing to remember is the input is a stereo 1/4 inch jack. If you're just looking to have more headphones working at the same time for recording several people on occasion then this is perfect.

Great Value Headphone Amp

This unit really surprised me in terms of value for money, I am using to send in ear monitors to a band and it does exactly what it needs to.

The build quality is actually pretty good, all metal with very sturdy pots, jack connections are average but not bad. Only negative is the rubber ends have fallen off a few times in my bag, nothing a drop of glue wouldnt fix though!

This amp does its job. If you already have a ready-mixed sound and want to have it out in several headphones, then this is ideal. Costs almost nothing!

Good for the price

This headphone splitter is a handy little device for recording live sessions or whatever you might need it for. It lets you split a signal cleanly four ways with a separate volume knob for each channel. Seems like its built pretty sturdy as well. The only gripe I have is that there's no on/off switch so it's always on when its plugged in, but at this price I don't mind.
