Millenium MPS-300 Mono Cymbal Pad 4-stars Reviews
Great effect pad for the price
I was looking for a pad to be used for china and effect cymbal sounds and this pack fits the bill perfectly for that use. Everything you need is included at a great price and it works fine. It triggers well, isn't extremely loud acoustically (though I do have quieter cymbals), and the stand is solid enough. It doesn't take a lot of room so it keeps the footprint of the kit low even when positioned fairly far off to the side, or it can be positioned in between other pads without need for a lot of manouvering.
I couldn't really recommend it as a regular crash cymbal for example, except on a very short budget, it just doesn't feel very realistic in that role. It feels pretty much like an inverted china when being played, no wobble and not a lot of give. It is best employed as an effect cymbal or perhaps a secondary ride/hi-hat. I'm not taking that as a big minus though, it would not be fair to expect a "pizza slice" cymbal to feel like a full-size one.
Recommended, would buy again.
Strong construction but only small sensitive area
Good value for the money - strong construction and good cymbal screw & felt.Arm is strong and good adjust-ability Fitted on milenium clamp I bought no problem. Worked with my PP drums kit. Only slight downside is for such a large pad the sensitive area does not cover a great extent of it.
Cheap and cheerfull
The pad is sturdy and works fine. I've used this as a hihat and it works well for simple beats. If you want something that is very accurate in your dynamics you'll have to pay more.
Everything is good, but there is better ones out there. But not at this price range!
