Shabby but cheap

For such a cheap product, it isn't as bad as you'd expect. It isn't very stable nor does it look like something that'd still be in one piece a few years on. I've been using it from time to time for the last year or so in my home studio and it's worked just okay.

You might be better off buying something a tad more expensive but then again — it's only a mic stand.

Mic Stand

So good I bought one twice! I use one for guitar amp and our drummer uses the other for his bass drum mic. Solid, reliable and fully adjustable. Remember and order your clip though.

Excellent value mic stand

I can't really say very much about this one, so just a short review. Excellent low level mic stand. It has good adjustment and is sturdy. I have used it to support my bass drum mic and it is perfectly fine for this job. I also use it to support one of those practice pads, like the Alesis. It is surprising sturdy enough for this, although you have to make sure the end knurled ring is done up tight to prevent the pad slipping. But then, it was not designed to do this, so the fact that it handles this says a lot. It folds down nice and compact. Well worth the money.

Great value

This a very sturdy stand. with many budget mic stands it's often diffcult to tighten the joints and they often droop when heavier mics are attached. This however stays strong. It's easy to extend all the various parts and makes mic placement very easy.

Pretty good

This stand is pretty good for recording/micing a kick drum. It's not perfect but is pretty good for the money. I still use it often

Short mic stand

I use this stand to mic kick drum, snare and sometimes guitar cab and I have no problems with it whatsoever. It is made out of metal and plastic for the screw tops and has lasted for a couple of years so far. Recommended.

Okay for the price

As with most cheap stands, its okay for casual use, but it can be frustrating if you're using it a lot as it can slip under heavy weight. I use it mostly as a guitar cab mic (works fine with a 57), or a bass drum mic, which causes it to dip unless it's really tightened

Great little stand

Really great expandable stand, good for kit, and amps, but will also extend for saxes/brass especially if seated. A little wobbly at the joints when fully extended, but great value for the price.

Cheap and perfect

Amazing. Great for using on amps and kick drums, fairly sturdy.

good purchase

I bought a few of these stands as workhorses for my studio, they are sturdy and lock together nicely, the telescopic arm doesn't slip, they are simple and work exactly as desired. Lots of the fixings are plastic so might start waring over time but a few months in i haven't had any problems with them. My only minor niggle would be the 'millenium' label is stickered on not painted; i know this is a very small aspect but none the less it would finish a lot nicer and look a lot more professional.

This is a cheep instrument stand.

I actually bought this by mistake. I was looking for a mic stand for singing however I found it is just right for sitting down and takes up less room so I kept it. It does what it is supposed to but it is not very strong and I wouldn't be confident in this for giging. It is fine for home use though.

Tall Mic Stand

Built to look exactly as the K&M one. I wouldn't be surprised if it were built in the same factory - K&M parts are usable on these. Provided you look after it, as will all mic stands - especially cheap ones, it'll do the job fine. I'm looking at buying more for pub gigs - £10 stand is easier to replace if it gets nicked than a £45 one!

Not bad as a guitar cab mic stand

I wouldn't buy this stand again as the screws on millenium stands tend to crossthread and become un useable unless you're prepared to get them re tapped and get larger screws for them but its not worth the time or money, You'd be better off with a solid base stand if you want to mic up a guitar cab as the legs on this stand are a little long.

Not great quality, but holding up at the moment. caution needed not to trip thread and render them useless!

We bought this for our band after our other bass drum mic stand would constantly overbalance because as opposed to legs it had a cast iron weight at the bottom which simply did not do the job! As soon as this arrived our troubles were over. The quality is great and you can throw it around and abuse it as much as you want and there is no fear of breaking it!

Excellent value product

Bpught two of these, one had a damaged wing nut but a replacment was sent out and received very quickly. They are a basic stand but ideal for kick drums or guitar cabs, or very small people!!

Small Mic Stand

This is a great stand for kick drums, for guitar amps on the floor, does the trick, it is very strong, had it for a few months and would buy some more!

Top Quality

Best quality for the money. Can't be faulted. Had lots of use since being bought and still going strong.
