Very good value for money

For the price quite good. There are much better stands but they of course cost more. I use mine not that often so it is okay for my use.

cheap and lightweight not very well made and but do the job

Broken after 3 months

I usually trust millenuim products but this has failed already. I think we've done about 6 gigs with it over 2 months and already the thread on the boom extender has threaded and come loose. Only very light use as our singers don't move the stand around much. Dissapointing but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going to try it with a new screw or possibly re-thread it.

it's okay for the money

I bought this one as an extra stand for live and home studio applications. It's not a very stable stand and I have better stands that cost just about the same.

pros: value (sort off)

cons: stability

For live sound I woulnd't bother, just look for a bit more expensive one.

For home studio it would be "okay". I mean you can stabilize it with some weights.

Not great for proffesional use

In hindsight I would?ve gone with the K&M?s. Two of these stands already broke.

For the price is ok but it is not so robust.

A tad flimsy

I don't think it'll fall down, as long as I don't bump it.

For me Its a meh.

I bought this stand as part of a bundle, Its not the worst but i would defintly try to invest in a better one, I think it does its job but wont last long.

A stand that doesn't stand

The bottom part, the one that should make the structure stable, is not stable.. the legs move and they won't stay stand.

But, if you find the right position and you dont touch it too mouch (like in order to record instruments, or a very quite singer) it is fine.

Enough for the money

I wanted the cheapest stands possible. I got them. I should spend more next time.

Pros

They're ok. I liked the fact that they are heavy, it means a lot to put overheads when recording drums. The material doesn't look cheap.

Cons:

It's not straight! I bought two and they're both somehow bending at the point of the lower and higher part. I like my things to be straight, if you know what I mean.

Enough for the money thou'. I don't mind the little cons, as I knew what I could get for the money.

Ok stand

Not the best stand especially when it's raised to the highest point but with this stand, you get what you pay for.

The mic swivels a lot even when tighten.

Stand for weekend parties

Hi, we use this stand for gigs with band. We play every weekend. MS2003 has perfect stability and is durable. Sometimes we play really hard wild shows and still no problem. Be carefull with locking screw.

Price is unbeatable. I buy it again when we will need it :)

It holds my mic up..side down. Which is actually good.

For the price i didn't expect much but having the smaller version as a bass drum mic stand i knew milennium stuff is usualy decent in spite of the low price.

The metal mechanism on the boom is definitely more durable then the even lower cost plastic series meilennium offer however in my specific use case i have experienced some stability issues.

i'm using it probably in the extremes of what it is made for. it's at it's full height with the boom arm out straight to the side. As i have the stand behind my drum throne, with the boom over my head. Also with a long gooseneck attached to bring the mic around and down in front of me.

At these angles and with the extra weight the boom droops a little over time, and i've noticed with the heavy gooseneck there is no way the mechanism to clamp the boom pole will ever tighten enough to hold this setup at any angle other than hanging straight down, but i need it to hang straight down so thats fine for me and it would certainly be expecting a lot from it to do anything but that.

I also need to be able to swing the whole thing off to the side when i don't need it and so the straight stand part of the mechanism deals with this fine, i was worrried it might come loose and drop down but so far it hasn't. I do however need to weigh the feet down with sandbags to be able to do all of this without it just tipping over, but i fully expected that.

For a practice room it is all that i need. if i was gigging with it i would probably buy a much heavier duty stand that i know is rock solid in every way.

For the price i can't complain about how well it holds up.

Good for the Price

I bought this stand a while ago, it still works ok, but is not as stable as i bought it first, its not really the best quality built, but you get what you pay for, serves its purpose even thought its not super stable anymore.

Not a very good stand

Careful where to use these stands. Not very well built. Will do the job for some DIY home studio stuff though when you're stuck in a pinch.

A little wobbly

The microphone stand was the one thing we saved money on from the home recording studio setup. While the metal is very firm the main upright shaft has an unnerving wobble, certainly not something you want holding up your very expensive microphone. As long as you don't touch it it should be OK though - I don't imagine it falling over unless I was recording a drunken or uncoordinated musician. If you're on a very tight budget then this is OK, otherwise I would go with something slightly more expensive to ensure a more rigid stability. Will probably end up using this for a cheaper dynamic vocal mic.

Good for the money

A good, cheap microphone stand. Perfect for a home studio but it does lack in stability.

Price reflects the quality

I bought two of these stands to hold overhead pics over a drum kit.

Both stands arrived one had the boom arm thread on thumb screw striped out causing the arm to slide down. the other stand works fine but definitely feels cheap.

If these stands are all you can afford then they are ok, but their are much better stands out there.

As good as you'd expect for the price.

I bought this as a back-up, along with some more expensive ones - although it doesn't feel as good, or as srtong, it will hold a mic for a good length of time without much trouble.

For something like an SM58, this will be fine - it's tall enogh for standing singers, it can go low enogh to record an amp on the floor - I wouldn't exactly trust it to support a Neumann, but for most things (particularly in a live environment) this should suffice.

I don't expect it to last for that long (unless you're really careful with it) if you use it as your main mic stand, but you should get a year or two out of it before anything starts to fall apart, depending on how you use it, and how often. Great for casual users/beginners.

It does feel reasonably sure-footed, and won't spontaneously fall over, but the rubber on the end of the legs is hard and not very grippy, and it actually warns you that it may stain wood floors.

For serious gigging, or studio use, I'd go for something a little more expensive - something that will likely last longer, and can support heavy condenser microphones.

For 12 euros its OK, but not good!

I have dissapointed in this stands, the quality is not the best but not poor.

I found that, one of the threads was aborted when i unpackaged the product (not my fault, manufacturing problem), so te adjustment was incredible.

I fixed it in my workshop, i a cut a new, bigger thread on it.

The stability is good enough, nothing special, it does what you want.

The handling is hard, because the adjustment screws sometims stucked, and you need a huge force to solve the problem, some of the adjustment screws not ergonomical (too little), it hurts for my hand sometimes.

If you dont want to spend a lot of money for mic stand, it can be a good choise, because of the price. You can live together this stand, but if you need a really good stand buy an another one, for more money.
