Good desk apart from useless rack rails

This is a good looking, sturdy, and roomy desk. So why they had to spoil it by fitting rack rails that can't actually be used because the screw holes aren't standard rack unit spacing is a mystery. If it wasn't for that bizarre fault it would be a solid 5 stars.

couldn't ask for more for the price

Got this as my first dedicated studio desk. The building instructions were quite clear and all the parts assorted neatly in separate bags (unlike some of IKEA products :-)). Since I have a Moog Sub Phatty, which doesn't quite fit the table's usual configuration (be sure to check the dimensions before you order!), I've had to change the default config to my specs (by simply drilling the additional holes for the support stand in the middle of the worktop).

My only complaint is the keyboard drawer, it fits my Prophet Rev 2 nicely but wouldn't allow for anything more serious, both by dimensions and weight.

Overall, a good starter choice.

The desk's proportions explain its price. The screen sits too high for any normal office chair, and the keyboard too low for normal human legs and the build quality isn't great either. On the pros, it is wide enough for a 61key midi controller and it has the usual cable holes, but that's about it.

It is a very nice high quality desk. It's stable and has a nice design

Needed a desk with some rack units and this one fit the bill to perfection. I am writing this from it! The screens are a bit high but nothing that raising the chair doesn't solve. It actually helped me improve my posture.

Love this desk!!

This desk has transformed my recording/production workspace, the organisation makes everything so much more enjoyable. The size is perfect and for the price, value is great! The addition of the sliding co apartment for the middi keyboard is also amazing, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a desk!

Brilliant Service

Great value but has it’s weaknesses

Great desk for the price. Compact and good space for controllers, monitors, display, rack units etc, but there a few things to watch out for:

- Can be a bit wobbly when loaded with some gear (I’d like to strengthen it with a metal bar linking the left and right legs).

- The rack spaces are actually a little shy of 6U so there’s a small gap left over (which could be used for running cables through, but I’d rather do without due to my next point).

- The top shelf is pretty high, ideally it’d be a little lower (even that 0.7U or so would help), as even with my 5” studio monitors the tweeters are a little high when sitting at the desk. Same for computer display/monitor.

Was unsure when purchasing but after using it, it is brilliant for tour money. if you're looking for something to upgrade you home studio this is a brilliant desk. Easy to put together, sturdy, spacious and all round great!

Perfect for a bedroom producer

Sturdy and just what I need!!!

Nice but .....

nice and easy to mount... but the overall structure is not very steady and the panel of wood are very fragile on the edges... the rail for the coming out top of the keyboard is quite wabling but for this price make his job and is quite pleasant to see.

Quality & Ease of Assembly

Received the product well intact and with no damage during transit.

Putting it together myself took literally 30 minutes and its very sturdy.

Worst rack ever. No ergonomics at all.

The height of the desk is weird. Screen and monitors are too high, and the lowest shelf is TOO low. I've lifted it up with some wood slats so I can sit somewhat ergonomically.

Idea is nice but poorly executed, it looks good until you sit in front of it.

The rack is the worst I have ever seen. Equipment does not fit. For example, if I screw one of my Kemper screws, the other one IN THE SAME SIDE, does not go in. That's just poor measurement. Not to mention you are forced to use their screws because it is not like a normal rack (it is literally a piece of metal with screw holes, so the screws attach to the rail itself.

After a few weeks, if I still had the box and all packaging and whatnot I WOULD PROBABLY RETURN IT BACK.
