Lovely little recorder!

Love this little soprano! I am in no way an advanced or experienced player and this is my first wooden soprano. Now it is fully played in it has a lovely sweet sound and plays up to top C nearly as easily as my plastic Yamaha. Very happy with my little Moeck!

Great Sound

This recorded was easy to break in and has an excellent sound. The high and low notes are relatively easy to play and maintain a good tone.

Higly recommended for the intermediate player

After years of playing on the cheaper versions of recorders and learning the basics, I actually wanted to purchase a higher quality recorder that sounded more like a 'wood instrument' and has a richer sound. I also wanted a Baroque instead of a German design. My aim being to learn how to do trills, play higher notes purer and play smoother and faster melodies and have a challenge.

I am very impressed with the quality! The recorder comes in a well designed casing and has everything one needs to keep it in good condition. The recorder is a tiny bit smaller than most soprano recorders but I have small hands so it's perfect for me. The rich sound is very pure and where I always had to make an extreme effort to get out the higher notes, this model allows for finer airflow and is very sensitive to the touch giving easier access especially to the higher register. The lower register has a beautiful rich tone to it as well. I think the only thing I didn't like is that I had to take my time to ''play the instrument in'' (week one: 5 min daily max; week 2: 10 min daily max etc). I also had to learn the Baroque fingering but that went quite quickly. I am a very happy and now more advanced recorder player. I am really pleased with this product!

Satisfied

The recorder plays very sweetly and clearly, with a full pure sound. I have had many compliments on the tone of this soprano recorder, even though I am still playing it in, as I haven't had it for long.

I am an experienced amateur player, and have played it in a group, as well as as a solo instument. I think this instrument represent excellent value for money.
