It's a pretty okay pedal. The reverb is a little thin, the shimmer is a little one-sided. The other reverbs are dull sounding to me. The form factor and the build quality is great though, but I wouldn't by this pedal again. For the price there's nothing too much to ask for.

Really nice pedal

This pedal is continuously On in my pedal chain, for recording, rehearsing and playing live. I really like the spring reverb.

Pros:

-Easy to use, but really easy to use.

-Compact size so you can fit it anywhere in your pedalboard.

-The spring reverb is amazing! I just keep it on all the time since my amp is a modeling amp and I prefer the sound of pedals.

-Solid construction

Cons:

-I don't like the shimmer, sounds weird but again, can be me that I haven't still get the hang of it.

Overall:

Well, for sure I would be extremely sad/pissed off if someone would take it from me. It has become a part of my personal tone and it works great with other pedals. No noise or modifying when its off and the spring reverb is really nice. Would recommend it to a friend for sure.

Great budget quality product

Mooer make awesome little pedals for the price, great tone, nice design and cool colours. Really happy.

Using the pedal in different gigging environments , small blues sessions and full venue gigs. It work for everything.

Never let me down. Only hassle is that you can't use a battery. Still very reliable and solid build.

The blue LED is a nice feature and stands out in all outdoor scenarios. I would definitely buy more of these , I've played though this pedal and cannot complain . Genuine worth my €60. I have recommended these pedals to everyone who plays guitar or even any electric instrument. Super gear!

ShimVerb

Mooer ShimVerb is a very unique pedal. It is very small, but has many features.

So, i have this little thing in my board over a year, and some of things I have found out are:

+: It is very usable in many different pats. For instance, i like to use it to make my tone wider. I crank up decay to 3/4 and switch to shimmer, but I leave volume low, not to lose my guitar tone so much, and then it gives me the kind of background, like pianos and electro. It is very usable to get "space" kind of sounds. The reverb on this pedal is common, I use it rare, because shimmer mode for me is better in playing.

-: The most anyoing thing is the switch. When I play my guitar and tur it on, it is like the sound makes a click. There is a gap.

When volume is cranked up like 2/3 the sound of guitar fades and makes a feeling, that you have a very big signal loss in this pedal (shimmer)

And the shimmer adds only 5th position. This could be awesome and bad at the same time. I find it useful.

mooer tested

I've tested it, soundwise it's good, it has the functions you expect on a reverb.

I didn't buy the mooer conenctor plugs and i regret that. Since these pedals are so small and light they tend to get pushed over by the connector cables in between them.

I strongly advise using the mooer pedal board and connector plugs too !

Beautiful shimmer but it cuts bass and low mid

I love the versatility and the shimmering tone in this tiny pedal. Pity it cuts bass and low mids, weakening the guitar tone. Doesn't matter as much strumming chords but it really kills a lead guitar.
