Adding Valve sound to a solid-state studio

I purchased the Presonus Bluetube DP V2 preamp to supplement my Yamaha DM2000 digital (solid-state) 96 input mixer in my Jazz/Classical Studio with the option for the characteristics of valve sound. Works well on Vocals and Guitars, but not on my Steinway Grand Piano or other classical instruments.

One warning - best not to adjust the gain or tube drive while recording; they're not faders.
