This device should be recalled! The headphone output is unbearably noisy at idle!

I had very high hopes for a usb-c powered small interface for use with usb-c iPad Pro, that also had built in effects for tracking vocals, but the minute I connected it I was puzzled by the ticking noise in the headphone output.

It's like a noise coming from a un-shielded old computer headphone jack. It's ticking frequency depends on the volume of headphone output and if there is any playback volume. It actually disappears when you output any sound. It's a engineering disaster and how is it even possible that it passed any quality control. It's also not just me, even here there are reviews of exactly the same problem.
