Great folk open tunings strings

Perfect match for my cedar top folk. Good for open tunings, they can handle Open C. Harmonics of silver strings are very open and sweet at the same time, which is great if your guitar sounds a bit dark or compressed (typical for many smaller bodies). I wouldn't probably use them with my spruce top dread (where I prefer Martin RetroÂ® monel strings). Contrary to effectively everlasting monel, Pyramid silver strings do not last long (except for heavy 6 sting), as silver coating quickly vanishes, but that's fine considering the price. The only real drawback is, as somebody already mentioned, that the third string is too thin and gets easily damaged.
