NICE STRINGS

I LIKE THEM ON MY STRAT AND TELE BUT I DONT KNOW IF WILL BUY THEM AGAIN. THE EPN110 WAS MAKING TO MY EARS MORE DIFFERENCE IN THE SOUND THAN THE PYRAMID.

DESPITE THE ABOVE, THIS STRINGS ARE VERY GOOD AND IN GOOD PRICE.

pleasant but not long lasting

Pleasant string to play, good tone and good feel but not so long lasting as other brands and models I had.

I mean after a couple of month even though not played often (4 to 5 times per week in the spring time, not to hot) I start noticing oxidation.

Durability problems

As my preference are nickel strings, then I am trying to test them all - previous experience with Pyramids has been good, but this time I was disappointed. It is true that these strings deliver smooth, warm classic tone, which suits best for easy rocknroll and swing (no no for metalheads), BUT - maybe it was just very unlucky case - when changing strings, the upper E (046) simply broke... I put it on tuner, twisted around, started to wind it up, and after few turns it simply cracked... It could happen to small E, but if it happens to big E, then it's not cool.

Overall, as I tinkered a bit with other strings - good sound, easy playing (bending, sliding).

Unsure on these

Used these on 2 Es335's I had, one guitar was okay with them on but the other started buzzing badly and intonation seemed off.

You also have to be very careful how you cut them as the outer windings can undo themselves off the core.
