Great build quality and sound - would like a link button for the L & R channels

Like other Radial devices, the built quality is really good; very solid. The sound is excellent and in my view produces a crisper sound than Behringer or Palmer DI's - of course, these are more expensive but I think it is worth the money.

The only thing I miss in this unit is the ability to link L&R into a single mono output, but that is a small niggle. Al in all, very happy with my purchase.

Fabulous stereo line driver

I use this for organs (MAG, Mojo), where stereo is a must for the rotary effect ( ofcourse you can also use it as doubble mono, if you wish).

Our engineer recommended it, and I've been happy as a clam ever since.

Very sturdy build, transparent sound, straight-forward in use, and no phantom power required.

An apply-and-forget piece of gear that wil last for many years. Highly recommended!

Good value for its money

This box does what it has to. Overall quality is really satisfactory except maybe for the xlr slots that are plastic instead of metal. (But that could be justified to lessen the already considerable weight). Add on top the fact that it can be annoying to unplug your xlrs because the lockers are not easily accessible due to the metal ridge of the casing. Long story short: good for a steady set up - not the most ergonomic if you need to regularly plug and unplug the thing.

If you are looking for a very good quality DI box, then Radial is one of the best choices. I'm using it for lives and rehearsals to connect my keyboard and sometimes a bass guitar, to change from unbalance into balance signal before sending it to the mixer and works really good. Radial is much more expensive than other brands but i've tried a cheaper one and it was a waste of money!

Excellent passive DI for stereo line sources, for live or studio use.

I can't find much to criticise for this DI. I bought this for stereo line-level sources like keyboards and synths. I prefer it to active units because for high peaks or hot levels it is much nicer than an active DI in clipping. Has a noise and distortion-free sound, very clean. Extremely well built, very rugged. Has all the necessary features and is very versatile. The transformers have a slightly different sound to Jensen but you won't notice until it receives a very high level and starts to break up. Then I prefer this one because the Jensens in the JDI can be slightly bright.

This DI is especially suited to stereo line sources; if you require a L-R merge function or a mono DI for amplified speaker outputs from an amp, Radial have better alternatives like JDI passive or J48 active, which is why those features aren't present. This is perfectly suited to stereo keys, backing tracks etc. No loading problems driving long lines. Excellent simpler and cheaper alternative to JDI stereo and others, definitely better sound and build quality than cheap passive DI's. Great value for a true professional unit. I just wish it had 2 of every switch and function so you could use it as two completely independent DI's for 2 mono sources; there is only one earth lift switch for both inputs. It's designed for a stereo source but can be used for 2 mono sources, with that slight limitation

Probably the best dbox out there

This awesome dbox from an iconic brand is solidly built, the ground lift works perfect and the signal is top quality! But keep in mind it is kinda heavy 😉

Simply the best

This is my go-to DI-box for a long time. It has all the functions to handle all live and studio situations.

Top quality - you get what you pay for

I have bought two of these for my keyboard rig, allowing stereo output to both front of house and on-stage monitors. The difference that stereo makes in cutting through the mix (and preventing phase cancellation) really makes it worth investing in decent quality Stereo DI boxes.

The sound quality and clarity (and the virtual absence of any noise whatsoever), is excellent. I've used them in both large and small venues and in all cases they just work as you would want them to. Build quality is also excellent.

Probably the best compliment I can pay is from a recent session where I turned up to do a live recording of a demo video. The sound engineer who was doing the mixing and recording asked me what my set-up was and when I told him I was using 2 x Radial stereo DIs he said "Great - that means I don't really have to do anything to make you sound good!"

Well worth putting the money in to these. It really is a false economy (and a bit pointless) to put high quality (Nord/Roland/Yamaha etc) boards through a cheap DI box.

Incredible quality and sonics

You get what you pay for, I guess. We use this as a DI for keys, and it honestly sounds amazing. Built like a tank, and with useful features like the pads and ground lift, we won't be buying any more Millenium boxes, even despite the crazy price difference. Highly recommended as a long-term investment.

Very Practical and Excellent Quality DI

Great Utility, especially with the two inputs/outputs. Used a lot for keyboards but have also used it for guitars. I actually ended up buying two of them and use them for my bands and any sound gigs I do. Built well too, robust. Good features, never had a problem sound-wise (bout 3 years now)

Best DI on the market

I have been using the Radial Pro DIs for years now, on keyboard, guitars and basses. They are very sturdy and have excellent sound quality.

Currently I am using this stereo DI attached to a Pedal Board for my Guitar, to record and also to play live.

No noise coming from the audio that is played through the DI. I'm also enjoying the jack line out that gives me an option to send the signal further to other devices.

The only downside for my usecase (with the pedal board) is the heavy weight of the DI, but I was expecting it, and have no problem with it.

Rugged, High Quality DI Box

Fantastic DI Box built to last with a good sound quality. Worth spending the extra over similar budget DI's if you can afford the difference.

Very good build quality and sound

The build quality and sound of this is excellent. I've been using one as a problem-solver for live applications and to simultaneously DI and amp guitars and bass. I don't review things immediately, so I can safely say after a number of years of using, carrying (and occasionally dropping!) this that it's build quality is outstanding.

A brick

Seriously, It's green, it's sturdy, it's stereo, passive and portable. I'm a keyboard player and I always bring one of these with me. They're a bit expensive for what they are technically, but they don't break either. So yeah, if you need a reliable, good stereo DI - buy one once.

High quality stereo DI

Put simply ... this DI excels at its job! Clean sound, easy to use, simple to set up. Bonus points for me are the through connections allowing me to set-up my own mix while giving the engineer/sound person full control on their end as well.

Excellent

I've hesitated for quite some time, unsure of spending almost 200euro on a dibox. In the end, I've decided to buy it on order to connect my keyboard to the mixer. I'm really glad I did so:

1. it is built like a tank

2. the sound is warm

3. the ground lift alleviates any hum --> no more noise on the stage due to other electrical devices

4. being stereo it is great for keyboards or other stereo inputs (computers, music playback, etc.)

5. no risk anymore for my keyboard to be damaged by phantom power, faulty mixers, etc. A friend of mine had his Korg PA4X mainboard damaged because of a faulty mixer!

Maybe you'll think it is expensive but please remember that quality transformers and components come at a price!
