Love this drum head!

Love this drum head, Remo is a classic and got a high quality! I recommend this product!

remo encore: great sounding heads at a great price!

remo encore ambassador heads feel a little thicker/heavier than regular ambassadors and produce a rounder sound, with less pronounced highs and overtones. great sustain.

i have used them mostly in low and mid tunings, but they never really open up in the highs as much as regular ambassadors do. i like both; it’s a matter of context and preference.

they’re great as reso heads too, and when it comes to kick: at this price it sure hurts less to cut a hole in one of these, if that’s what you have to do :)

no complaints whatsoever in term of durability - i’m not exactly a heavy hitter, but they do seem sturdy enough.

definitely worth a try - i just love these!

Bon, je savais que je ne rencontrerais pas la qualité des peaux Remo plus chères que j'ai l'habitude d'utiliser, mais cette entrée de gamme m'a totalement séduit : le son est vraiment bon, la robustesse est là, et l'illusion est parfaite. Je rachèterai sans hésiter.

I'm impressed on the sound I can get from it.

I tune it kind of middle tension, I tune the reso as much as I can, and I let the snare wires a bit loose. In this way I get a short, mid-pitched and powerful snare sound, which I love.

I never tried the Ambassador made in USA (and I'll do it), but so far I feel that I can recommend it to everyone.
