Best all rounded DAC better than Mytek

I had a failed Mytek Brooklyn Dac+ even after expensive repair. And then I decided to try RME. I found RME excel in every ways, and better value. Highly recommended.

Adi 2 Pro FS R black edition its a very nice DAC with a lot of features, clean and punchy! The Headpones amp its a very good one, you dont need another one ,you have a lot of power with this...i use this with my Audeze Lcd X....

Reference AD / DA converter

Just extremely great product.

Very precise and accurate converter. I use it for music listening, mixing, mastering - and everywhere the results are outstanding.

Very powerful and clearness sound.

It has a lot of features and options to tune, and you really need to check manual at least the first time be be able to fully use its potential. That is why I take off 1 point from handling. Also be sure of good ventilation as that unit become pretty hot after continuous periods of operation.

After all this is insanely great product and I would definitely recommend it.

Stellar digital performance

I came to this product from the ADI-2 DAC. I was so thoroughly impressed with the smaller brother, that I had to have this and I have zero, zilch and nada regret. If you need a function you have it here. Sample rate conversion from 32 to192khz for your old CD player. Digital signal refreshing. AD converters are so good you can plug your grammophone for further sound processing. PEQ for speaker and headphone correction. Progressive loudness, very, very clever. Hybrid digtal/relay volume control is a dream to use. Like other RME products, sound is very correct and neutral, but you can adjust it to your liking via excellent 7 band PEQ. The ADI-2 pro takes some dedication to tap into its full potential, The supplied instruction book, and it is a book at 96 small font pages covers most of it, but youll be guaranteed to have at least one more question. Of course you could just plug and play it, but that defeats the purpose of this feature specked equipmet. Only top score minus one star for handling(4 * aint bad). If you are prospecting this product I could recomend looking at the downloadable manual at RME website. Great forum too with daily input from users and RME designers.

Forget all the reviews you read about this amazing piece.. Just buy it and trust your ear to believe it. Unbelievable sound space RME ADI-2 pro FS creates and its very sweet too . I used other gear with this like UA-470D. The sound tonality became bad. Now I m using this directly with my Neumann power speaker. It has EQ, it has filters, etc.. I am going to replace everything with RME brand. Next thing to buy will be UFX+ for routing to make my studio complete.

The best I've ever heard

I bought this specifically to pair with my Hedd heddphones, and even more specifically as it can be used in balanced mode, each channel driven by it's own separate amplifier.

I have to say that the results are simply outstanding. The power and the clarity of the audio is so good that like listening to music again for the first time.
