Rode NT1-A Complete Vocal Recording 5-stars Reviews
Great quality, and great value for money
Recorded 3 Original single with this. Outstanding quality!
Fantastic vocals
Researched for a good 2 months on which condenser microphone to purchase for my vocals and happy to say I made a great choice. I don't think it would be possible to get better results for this sort of budget.
Very detailed but a tad too bright
Careful when using it on female vocals, can get a bit too sibilant but overall amazing.
Amazing mic
Works perfectly and is really cheap.
Amazed
Top tier quality when paired with a great sound card. For the price-phenomenal! Imagine what people would give back in the day to be able to have such great gear for such an affordable price :D
Kvaliteet vastas hinnale, kui väga head stuudiokvaliteeti taga ei aja, siis on harrastajale väga hea mikrofon.
Excellent Studio mic for the price
I bought this mic for my home studio as the normal standard stage mic's (SM58) just wernt quite doing it for the vocals under studio conditions. once I recieved the Rode NT-1 and set it up I noticed the change in sensitivity and quality of the vocal sound straight away... Remember vocal isolation is essential for this mic, It really does pick everything up, My recorded home vocal sound, clarity and tone wise is much improved.. one could spend a lot more money on other condensor mics but for the money this mic really does the job nicely..I'd recommend it for any home recording setup
Incredibly great. Quality at a great price, highly reccomended
Purchased this microphone after using one in a studio for vocals, drum overheads, piano and guitar acoustic and electric. With the right pre-amp this micprophone is pretty faultless and has been a workhorse microphone for vocals on major productions.
Rationale: that high-end LDCs are often far out of budget for independent artists with big ambitions and high creative standards. Having worked for decades with microphones from the big names in audio that come at 10 times the price of this mic, I have to say I am completly satisfied and impressed by this microphone. I got the bundle with shock-mount, pop filter, really nice security and protective hard-case, and paired it with an ART Tube MP, which gave it a bit of warm glow and gain.
I have since owning this been doing professional voice overs, music productions from my home where I would normally need to rent a studio with a U87, I can now produce high quality recordings and productions from home.
I've tried a lot of different mics on the market but keep returning to Rode gear because it is really consistent. This mic will soon be as ubiquitous as the SM57/58 in the kit of many musicians, producers, it is just hands down an all around great vocal and instrument mic.
Conclusion: Well built, well engineered excellent piece of gear, the lack of low cut or pad has never been a problem for this user as the mic has a dynamic range that can be attenuated on your pre-amp...
I've never had to mess around with EQ too much, it just sounds like, well my ear... !!? that's what a mic should sound like right ?
The best for the price
Rode NT1-A has a high quality sound. Beautiful at high ends and presence. For the price, I recommend it.
I buy a second time
I see no reason to describe this microphone, there are already a lot of reviews about it absolutely everywhere. Personally, this is the second time I purchase this microphone, as I managed to sell the first one at a profit. Of the budget microphones, this is perhaps the best.
Great mic for the price
Absolutely quiet and clear. Picks up every nuance. Great mic for any price.
Best Mic I've ever had!
After several takes, I decided to get back to this brilliant mic. Mic's sound is amazing and very much a compliment to almost any voice. Value/Price is great. Buy it with no doubts!
One of the best and it is reasonably affordable.
For vocals, the NT1 is crisp and detailed, with plenty of warm low-end body in the mix and nothing absent or poking out in the midrange.
Anyone who wishes to primarily record vocals should place a decent large diaphragm cardioid condenser mic at the top of their shopping list. This reworked NT1 is one of the best and it is reasonably affordable.
Amazing for the price
The best cardioid microphone within this prince range! I noticed that my voice is a lot more crisp and clear, and the mic has a really good range. Rode is known for their quality and this is certainly one of them.
A quality mic for recording
I bought this microphone as part of a basic home studio setup. For the price, it has been incredibly good. I have been using this microphone for some vocal recordings both for music and also for some videos I have been producing.
It has been really easy to work with it and get the sounds that I desired from it. Working well with vocals, acoustic guitar, and as an overhead for drums. Providing a clear and crisp sound in whatever situation I have used it in so far.
Excellent value for money
I spent a long time reviewing an introductory mic and went with this one. It's perfect.
Best in class for Home and Professional Studios
I increased a lot the quality of my recordings in my studio, lovely and not expensive mic, one of the most used in voice recordings.
Love it!
This set up is amazing for the price
Perfect!
Thanks. The sound of this microphone is so fire!
