Rode NT1-A Complete Vocal Recording Reviews
Yes!
A good mic at a good price with a pop an xlr and a base! For entry level its perfect!
Perfect sound. WOW effect after first records
I do not record vocals every day. But after connecting Rode NT1-A there was a real jump of recorded sound quality. Via UR22-MK2 or via ZEDi10FX it's just clear, noise-less sound and probably only your recording room can impact it a bit. Perfect quality, very solid materials used. Very recommended.
overall good beginner microphone
I'm using this one to teach singers online. And for that it works absolutely perfectly!!!
The quality feels nice and strong. I would say this is a perfect beginners mic and it's a great microphone for the price! And a huge plus that it comes with everything you need to start using it. (except an interface ofc) I'm using this microphone together with the USB interface MOTU M2.
Great Budget Studio Microphone
I use it to record vocals, acoustic guitar, and to talk to people online. For the price It's great :)
I highly recommend it
Mike is good for recording rap songs
I liked it very much
Very good material, sound and overall quality
I recently bought this microphone and I think I am going to keep this for a long time. The build quality and the sound are amazing. Definitely a good choice for a budget microphone, it also adds the pop filter and a holder, which is a really good deal, especially for beginners.
Excellent!!!
Great Value For Money..
Great value for money mic
Great value for money microphone. I'd been using a Shure SM57 to record my demos with until now. Adding the Rode to my setup, I am delighted with the results. With the pop shield and cradle this really is exactly what I needed and sounds wonderful (even if my singing might not).I haven't used it for recording acoustic guitars yet, but I've heard it does a brilliant job with those too. In the meantime my demos are sounding great, so I am thrilled with this purchase.
Value for money
I use this mic for recording vocals in my home studio. It is a very warm mic and i think you can have pro results. I have a focusrite 6i6 for my homestudio. Three months ago, i borrowed a high-end mic from a local studio nearby. I recorded the same vocals with both of them. I kept the vocals from NT1-A. The only con is that NT1A doesn't have switches on the mic for the db, but it's ok.
Amazing Microphone for a great Price
This is an incredible Microphone Bundle for its Price.
The Sound Quality is great, build quality seems awesome as well. Just an overall great choice !
Very nice for acoustic guitar recording
I bought this microphone mostly for recording acoustic guitar and i am very satisfied with sound and volume and build quality. Doesnt colour the sound much and sounds very natural, not harsh for me at all, like some reviews said. Also sounds good on vocals for my needs as home studio hobby producer. Price is good and it feels like quality product and you get 10 years warranty when you register. Made in Australia logo is also very nice.
Well made microphone
Well made microphone and mic frame. Sounds good and reliable construction.

Good mic.
For that price, very good mic. Hard to find better in same price range.
Best microphone for this price!
Best microphone for this price ! Excellent sound, excellent and really well made construction of the microphone itself and shock mount and fabric pop filter!
The perfect home studio mic
The Rode NT1-A is just what you need if you want to invest in a worthwhile quality vocal mic. For vocals and acoustic guitar is sounds insane. Even though it is made for vocals I tried it for micing up a guitar amp and a overhead for drums and it sounds good and a lot better than I thought!
great mic
great value ,great sounding vocal mic the clarity and tone you get from it is unbeatable at this price range
Perhaps too good!
I bought this microphone to do some home covers, but I find myself a bit overwhelmed by it. It has been hard to keep it from peaking a lot when belting because it is so sensible.
For softer singing it works perfectly!
