Rode PodMic Reviews

For this price the microphone has no busines being this good

These are HEAVY! But sound great

The Podmic sounds great, has good sensitivity and has a built-in popfilter. They are really heavy which have to be considered what purchasing microphone stands/arms.

price quality

I think it's the best of its kind. for this price, the compelction, build quality and sound are excellent.

Great microphone for voice recording (not vocals).

Excellent microphone.

Suitable for podcasts/reviews and anything where you just speak into the microphone.

Not suitable for recording singing or instruments.

pros

- not demanding for the preparation of the premises. Doesn't pick up extra sounds.

- Has a built-in pop filter.

- It is made of tactilely pleasant materials.

- cuts frequencies above 13 kilohertz

cons

- picky about amplification (my card motu m2 copes with it, but without much reserve)

- there is nothing in the kit except for a microphone so do not forget to buy a wire right away.

- pretty heavy. Before buying, it is worth checking whether your microphone boom can hold it.

Be sure to note that this is not a condenser microphone and does not need 48 volt phantom power, otherwise you may feel a little sad after turning on the power that you no longer have a microphone.

It’s super cool for this price

It’s big heavy but quality is superb

best mic for the price

I tty so many xlr mics but rode podmec is the best for the price and It made well and heavy and works nicely with any mixer

Great Microphone!

It simply the best when it comes price and the quality in this mic is top top notch.

Awesome Microphone

Just overall an awesome Microphone. Sound is great and so is the build quality. Just keep in mind that you might wanna invest in a cloud lifter or similar amplifiers as this microphone needs quite a bit of gain.

Other than that really amazing microphone for podcasting or streaming.

Great dynamic mic

Great dynamic mic make sure you can drive it though needed quite a bit of gain

The Best mic for this Preis

Great sound

I love the microphone, we are using it for our podcasts

I will definitely purchase more

Bought 2.... and then ordered another one!

Really solid build. And amazing sound quality as you would expect from RODE.

It's by far the best in the very affordable price range.

Great budget mic for podcasting

I love the quality of this mic, the sound is concrete. Great choice for a 100$ mic.

This product is very excellent and it was one of my wishes

Great Quality mic for the price.

Solid construction, great build quality and with a little bit of EQ this sounds great.

Clear sound, warm

quick install, warm sounding.

You might need a good DAC as the mic itself can be quiet.

Rode PodMic

The microphone is excellent. The only drawback is a lot of weight.

Outstanding mic

The quality of this mic is impressive for its price. It feels pretty solid. The sound you get it´s great. There is a little color on the sound so that you can apply some post processes to it. Not suitable for instruments to my taste, but excellent for vocals. Streamers, Podcasters, or Vloggers will love this.

Best experience

This is the best mic I ever used and had the best quality and noise reduction

Really good mic, really good price

I bought this sometime ago and I am really happy with it. It's stronger than a tank and it sounds really nice. It has a smooth and rich mid-range. Both low and top end sound controlled. This makes it ideal for many types of sources. I mostly use it for vocals, guitars and guitar cabinets but it sounds great on a kick drum too.
