Minimalist, but great value

I bought this set just so that I can stay in practice when visiting the family home (I have a TD12 set in my main home).

It's easy to set up and the build quality very good. The pads are a bit small, and the rack restricts the cymbal placement to be a little too cramped for my liking. But the sound is great (though the maximum volume through the headphones is quite low). For the money it's very good, and it does the job for which I bought it perfectly well.

Excellent set of beginner edrums

Highly recomended beginner edrum set: very well built with a sturdy mount allowing you to play a bit harder on the pads and still keep them under control, relatively low noise pads and very good sounds.

The kick is very silent which is an absolute must if you live in a apartment.

What's even better is that you can connect to your PC and use dum software such as EZDrum or superior for a more diversified array of sounds and also to record.

As for upgrades to the set, I would especially upgrade to a mesh snare for better playbility and feel and to allow rimshots and perhaps later to a better kick pedal.
