Very good

Nice sounding, long lasting and the extra e string is a great bonus.

Reliable standby.

These are good strings, good value too, a slightly different tension to the American equivalents.

Great, always relying on them

Very nice sound and versatile for variety of styles, also extra 1st string on the package is very handy!

great strings for price

These are quality for the price and a spare high 'E' string in the pack is brilliant idea, well done Rotosound we have all snapped that one when fitting a new set.

I bought this to try a 10 set. Good brand and good set but the gauge is not my cup of tea.

Amazing guitar strings!!!!

Excellent guitar strings. The sound is bright and smooth. Highly recommended!

10-46 Too much tension for me

In 10-46 the strings seem tight, and I'm having tuning issues. I'm going back to Ernie Ball slinkies.

I have a feeling that the Rotosounds may be really good in 9-42, which I usually find too light in E.Ball.

roto 10's,ok.

Ok value for money, more expense gets slightly better, but for distorted guitar sounds more money means diminishing returns.Roto strings seem good enough for money spent.

Great sound but prone to breakage

I love the sound of these strings. They start out pretty bright and zingy but they soon mellow out to a very nice, mid focused tone.

My only complaint is that they seem to be made from more brittle steel than most other strings. They do NOT like to be loosened (like for a setup) and then brought back up to tension. I often experience breakage in situations like that. I guess that's why Rotosound provide an extra high E-string.

I've actually experienced the same with Rotosound BASS stings which strongly suggests that Rotosound use a more brittle type of steel than other string manufacturers. I mean, bass strings should be able to handle being loosened and brought up to tension. With Rotos they often break.

Still, the tone is great and they're cheap. I'll definitely keep using them, at least on SOME of my guitars.

Just get them

The extra High E string saved me lots of frustration and money. I have been buying Roto's since last year and I am not planning on changing

Affordable and legendary guitar strings

As a professional guitar player, over the years I've tried an endless amount of different guitar string-brands. I've come to find that the Rotosound electric guitar strings are the ones that have the right balance between fresh sound and longevity and are simply my brand of guitar strings. That being said this, of course, differs from player to player and it all depends on your expectations from your guitar strings. If you're into the British sounding 60s music these are likely to fit you.

Of course, Rotosound make all the standard string-sizes for all the standard string-instruments. I can recommend these to players of all levels and think Rotosound make great guitar strings, plain and simple.

Classics!

Classics strings, great value and durability. An extra E string is great feature.

durable and reliable

the roto yellows are my strings of choice since i first tried the free samples that come with every Bareknuckle pickup.

they sound good when brand new, and keep sounding almost as good after weeks of extensive use or months of sporadic activity.

in my personal experience they're more stable and durable than other brands.

Great strings

For me these strings when new sound too sharp and too bright, BUT after they breaking (a day or so) they sound absolutely fantastic (correct tone from all your favourite albums )! Great for blues, hard rock and classic metal! They hold that great tone for a really long time, (I hate changing strings with a passion). I use them on all my guitars, teles, strats, sg's and les pauls. If your looking for strings give them a try!

They do their job

They seem to be good quality strings and the sound

is a matter of taste but to me they seem a bit dark sounding.

Not very slick either but then again this might due to my

sweaty fingers. The 2nd thin E-string is a big plus...

very popular strings

Very good strings for standard and drop D tuning.

first strings are not so durable, and thats why there are two single first strings in a pack.

used them for some gigs and like the crunchiness of their sound.

color coding seemed a bit confusing at first but you will figure it out.

in overall, very good strings for their price

Great Value Retro Style Strings

I wanted to give these strings a try as I had heard about them and I just love the look of them. I am happy to say that these are fantastic strings and i can understand the fuss about them. they have a vintage vibe to them and they seem pretty durable too. I have them fitted to a Les Paul style guitar and they certainly deliver a great tone. there isn't a whole pile more that needs to be said really, buy them and try them for yourself- highly reccomended.

New Rotosound Yellows

No more cardboard box and 6 individual paper envelopes to recycle everytime I buy a new set of strings :). Just a foil wrapper and a small silica gel sachet to keep moisture away. The strings have red, white and blue ball ends now which adds a bit of colour to the normally plain steel ball ends. Same quality as always and I never use anything else.
