Does one thing, does it well

I've been using this pre-amp for a while now and how no problems. Great value for money. Recommended.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

I purchased the DM1 to add the gain required to add headroom to a Shure SM7B mic in a home recording setting.

The Dynamite made all the difference in giving me more room and signal to work with and just made life so much easier as a result.

There are both cheaper and more expensive options out there and this sits somewhere in the middle on price.

And as it's SE you know the quality will be there. The build quality is superb and would no doubt easily put up with life on the road if you need to boost long cable runs etc.

You can't go wrong with this one.

Making music fun again

It's an inline preamp. It's not supposed to be more than an almost invisible extension to mic's needing a bit of help. It does this excellently, as most tend to do, but it's also fun, and there's something to be said for that. It comes packaged like a stick of dynamite, is deep red and says dynamite on it. It makes you smile, and I don't know any other inline preamps that do that. I'll support a brand for that reason alone.

SE DM1

does what it has to do at a fraction of the cost of cloud lifter and others. I'm using it with a share SM7B and works perfectly.

Contento :)

Hace justo lo que dice que hace. Ideal para usar con los previos de interfaces de audio ya que generalmente no tienen suficiente ganancia para ciertos micros.

Lo he probado con un SM57 y puedo tener niveles realmente altos con 0 ruido.

Goodbye Soundcard Noise, hello dynamic microphone bliss.

Was having an awful time with noise using dynamic microphones with my Komplete Audio interface. Yes I did try using large diaphragm condensers, and they worked fine, but I wanted to use a dynamic for podcasting.

Bought this beauty and now I have really good levels, gain dial is set to a low setting on interface and now have very little in the way of noise.

Absolutely delighted. Buying another one.
