brass mics
I used them on Sax alto the first time that I have opened this mic and I was impressed with the sound quality and the firm grip they have. With few Eq this mice are excellent on any brass instrument I am very pleased that I have bought them and surly I will buy more.
Excellent mic from trumpet/sax/trombone
This mic sounds great on trumpet, sax and trombone. It has better bass response than you might expect from a small mic like this.
The shockmount is particularly good, resulting in almost no key/valve noise.
The only complaint I have is that the clip feels a little loose on the bell. I've never had it fall off, but I wouldn't want to move around too much with it.
