Sennheiser E 945 5-stars Reviews
Sennheiser E 945
Bought this microphone for my female duo partner as she was struggling to be heard through the mix, we have tried all makes and models and she was previously using a wireless Shure SM87 condenser microphone which I also use.. perfect for me but the Sennheiser for her is absolutely perfect, I had to turn her vocals down because she was blasting me out, great microphone, definitely suits her voice and also, to be honest, sounded good for me with a bit of top off it.
Its s keeper. Nice microphone and after reading many reviews on forum's im glad I brought it... pondered over the e945 or the e935 at first but will be buying the e935 next as a gigging acoustic musician its always good to have a choice of mics... think my 58 wont be seeing any daylight for a while.
Perfect !
Finally, I found mic that suits my vocal...It is very natural and bright, it just opened my voice...I used Shure Beta 58a before ( I still use it but not that often) but it's litlle bit muddy, I found it really good on female vocals because they need more bottom to get complete image of vocal...
I highly recommend E 945 !
A big Decision
I have been a Shure SM 58 user for the last twenty years, so when it came to buying a new mic did I stick with what had been reliable or did I spend the extra on a Sennheiser. I was not disappointed. The first thing you notice is the weight and it is very well built and has great lines. The sound quality is amazing but in honesty the only noticeable difference is a slightly more rounded tone with a deeper clarity and tone.
