Shure SE215-K Reviews
Internal Wire Broken
After barely using it, the wire is broken already and I need to refund. They are very impractical to put on the first time, although they become better as you get used to them. They isolate pretty well from outside, but the sound itself is not great, maybe due to the actual In-Ear System I have, not sure.
Sound
Expected better sound quality, very bad Lows
Great for most users
These are great in-ears and while they are never going to be as good or as comfortable as the ones you get molded to your specific ear shape, they are the next best thing. I will continue to use these until I land that phat record deal.
Great Earphones
I was looking for a good but affordable set of In-ears for my job, these are the best earphones for the money.
good for djs
good for monitoring but the conector/cable somtimes get lose and loosing audio
Very good in ears
Been using these for quite a while and found that they are very nice to use both in every day life and on loud stages.
a nice set of in ears
Fantastic price/quality ratio
This things have been going strong for several years now. Isolation is not active, but the foam tops are very good at that. Sound is just fantastic. They are pretty comfy to wear but the cable can sometimes push the over-the-ear hook which can be a bit annoying at times.
Overall, I'd buy them again if I wanted cabled in-ears. Bought their BT version recently and it's just the same but without the cable.
The best Iâve used
Been using the same pair every day for the last 3 years or so and they’re still going. The foam tips offer the best ear protection for drumming that I’ve tried so far and still give enough sound in to hear what everyone’s saying in a rehearsal.
These lasted one gig.
These lasted one gig, tried them and they didn’t work the next time.
Best Pair of Headphones I Own!
Regarding value for money, I don't think you'll outcompete the Shure SE215-K Headphones, high quality, excellent sound, I recommend using them with the Fir Tree earbuds for maximum noise cancelling. Very comfortable and ergonomic, I wear these for hours regularly without issue.
Heel goed
Inderdaad weinig verschil met het grotere broertje.
Heel correct geleverd
Simply Great for live musicians
I've been gigging with these for about 3 months now. They're great, Great isolation with the memory foam tips, somewhat lacking in low and high end, with much emphasis on the mids between 700 - 3.5khz.
Personally I love this is as any ultra low end you want to hear will rumble through the headphone's noise isolation no matter what pair you purchase and greater volumes of high frequency content will likely fatigue and hurt your ears in any show longer than 30 minutes.
I wouldn't use them as an everyday pair, but this isn't what they are built for.
After years of playing live I can finally hear myself at a show and no longer leave with ringing ears!
Get them, your tinnitus will thank you!
Very nice sounding and comfortable.
Great set of generics. A must have for a spare.
Comfortable for long periods
I use these as a vocal monitor. They are perfect in that respect. They don’t produce much the way of low end but that is fine for my uses.
As far as isolation goes, it is achieved quite well with the exception of lows that are conducted through your body I suppose.
Think of it like attenuating all of the upper mid and top end and then re-introducing the volume you want.
value for money
good for the price but the sound is mediocre overall and they keep popping out of my ears every two songs
Great product for the price
Awesome for drummers, live and practice
Great bang for the buck earmonitors
Bought these for live use to reduce stage volume and they are amazing. Fits perfect for my ears, sound better than many expensive earbuds when listening to music, super durable and seethrough plastic makes them invisible. They cancel noise greatly, im even having hard time listening my bandmates on stage :D shape of these are quite universal and different sizes of rubberbuds make them perfect for everyone. Nice vase makes them impossible to loose. Highly recommended!
Recommended for voice
I use the SE215 for voice and guitar monitoring. The noice cancelling is almost as good as my normal earplugs but leaves enough room to hear the rest of the band and even my own guitar-amp. The build quality and comfort is good.
Only cons i found is that it takes a very long time for the foam to fit my ear perfect (takes a minute or more) and the sound lacks some bottom end. I can imagine this could be a problem for DJ's or bassplayers, but not for me personally.
A friendly warning: be carefull with the volume, they can be very loud!
great
cheap, reliable, just what I needed. used them for 4 odd years, had no complaints with them.
