Shure worth the money!

When you buy Shure, you buy a workhouse that never lets you down, switch is great for live performance so you don't have to mute/unmute constantly via desk.

Solid, proven microphone with great sound

Although known as a vocal mic, my experience is that this is a versatile high quality mic, that can be used for many purposes. I used it for recording vocals, classical guitar, a cajon and as overheads for drum recording, all with great results.

Excellent mic for general use and live

Great all-purpose mic for practice and live but works also in studio for demoing. Strongly recommended.

Good standard mic

Never a problem using this piece of gear. I even use it to micing my amps :) in said that this mic gives me confident of utilization. Strong build, pretty good low and great mid-high. Will never complaint about any standard of this mic. a great must have piece!

Industry standard, switch feels a little flimsy

I bought it in a bundle, otherwise I would've got the non-switch version.

As always no surprises form Shure

For vocal performances at home studio you don`t need anything more sophisticated.

No surprises from Shure regarding voice clarity and overall build quality. I use Shure microphones for last 22 years with no problems.

More than lives up to expectations

It's hard to criticise this mic, which is why it's been the gold standard for over 50 years I guess?

A standard microphone you would expect

So you finally bought a mic and now ready to record your awful voice which is actually way better than mine, well good for you. Don't forget pop filter or you'll pop your earbuds out of your nose. Also don't record yourself when there is somebody else in your home or your screeching voice of death will soon make you go out of that house in a few seconds, talking from my personal experience. Anyway good mic, doesn't brake just like the red brick focusrite soundcard.
