SM58, needs no further introduction...

It's an SM58, the best live mic ever and still is as far as I'm concerned. It's a workhorse and probably the only mic that can handle the dreaded mic drop (just don't!!!)

Nuff said..

A classic

What else can be said about the SM58? rugged and responsive. I bought it as the first mike for a student to be used on the stage and it has lived to the expectations.

We got 4 of these for our music club and they do a great job, and industry standard that does not disappoint, happy to recommend

Great classic mic

You can’t go wrong with this classic sturdy microphone. It seems to be one of the most popular mics around and is very reliable.

An industry standard for a reason

I bought this mic for both home use and for gigs with a rock band.

This mic is heavy, very durable and clear sound.

I paired this up with a a Hercules HCMS-533B microphone stand and its amazing. Sturdy and doesn’t get knocked over easy at pub gigs which has happened in the past with cheaper products.

Pros.. heavy duty, built to last, crisp clear sound, fully reliable, value for money.

Cons... none.

SM58 with a switch - You can't go wrong

I use this for gigging with several bands in pubs, clubs and theatres as well as for recording vocals in a pinch.

It is beautifully clear and very durable. A big pro is the switch, I had a switch-less SM58 before and I appreciate being able to turn off this mic from the stage. At this price, there are no cons.

Not the first I bought, not the last one either...

I've been working with this brand for a while now and I can say that these microfones are, hands down, the best for the price range.

They are strong, feel great in the hand, have great sound clarity and not to many bass out of the box.. and if you have a way to equalize the sound to your taste, you'll never need aything else for both live concerts or home recording.

if you ask me(not that you did), you won't get it wrong when betting on any of the SM58 models.

I personally like this one because the on and off button makes it easier to simply mute it leave it without fearing some awful feedbacks.

Industry standard

There's really no point in reviewing this item. It's THE SM58. The benchmark on stage. Has it's limits but still a great mic.

Legend!

It is a LEGEND. What else do you need to know?

The industry standard for a good reason.

This mic has been the industry standard for years, so there's not much else to be said about it.

I got the added switch option for a few euros more as a personal preference, and I like have the extra option of muting the mic by hand instead of having to use the desk all the time.
