Great allround mic

I use it on drums and it's perfect since I can switch the mic between dynamic and condensator by the press of a button. It sounds very neutral with no color if you are not using the software from Slate wich can turn it into just about any mic.

Unbeatable sound for the money

Without the software, this would still be a good microphone. With all of the digital emulations included as a lifetime licence when you buy it, this is incredible value for the price. It just works.

Best Value Instrument Mic!

I bought two of these to have a versatile mono/stereo instrument mic setup at home. I absolutely love them! So far I've recorded lots of different acoustics (and mandolins/ukes etc) and some percussion. The natural sound of the mics is really good, but the emulations you can put on afterward sound incredible. I've no need to buy any other instrument mics. Fantastic.

Super Versatile Microphone!

A very versatile microphone! I used it on acoustic guitars and the ability to change mic models to find the one that fits is super useful.

The microphone quality is not the best in the world but Slate has great customer service that will sort out any problems that you may have

Decent product

These microphones sound great, even without the Virtual Mic software. For the price they are pretty hard to beat

Small beast

On the first days, I loved this mic. It gives you great options in one product, making your workflow easier. On the other hand, I had to return twice because of some noise that showed up after a few days of using it, so I'm not confident using this mic anymore, unfortunately. I wish they could raise the standards of their quality control.

Great sounding Mic

With or without the plugin mic emulations its a great sounding mic, main uses for me would be Acoustic guitar, and its nicely flat.

My new go-to!

I use this mic mostly in the studio but also in live sound. In the studio you get the software to turn it into lots of mics, and without the software it works as a very flat and clean mic.

Looks great, feels very sturdy, works excellently. Cannot think of a single con! The price for an item like this is incredible.
