Snark ST-8 Tuner Reviews
Minimal use, stopped working after a couple of years. It does cost a small amount of money but I expect some reliability, especially without any apparent issue.
My go to clip on tuner
Had loads of these. Solidly built, accurate and fast
Pretty flawless so far
Can't really fault it, picks up quick, steady reading, ease of use, out of the way, all you can need.
Major upgrade!
Comparable to other tuners, this come in first place!
The only way to get a more interactive tuner after this one, is getting a plug-in tuner!
Lovable, reliable, and most of all, pocket friendly!
It just works
Insanely cheap for the accuracy and ease of use. Recommended.
Where have you been all my life?
I have a separate tuner pedal on my pedalboard and I bought this clip on tuner for my small practice rig. I recently changed the strings on my guitar and did some maintenance. Since i was away from my pedalboard i decided to try out Snark clip on tuner and it was a blessing! Moreover, it is really useful for practicing bends and making sure your bends are in tune.
This product has excellent build quality. It looks nice and feels nice to touch. The screen can be angled however you wish and it displays information bright and clearly. It has clear notation (to see if you are tuning towards whole note or sharp) and enough sensitivty to tune reasonabily precisely. I will probably buy another one for my main rig.
A Classic
Snark tuner still snark tuning.
Great little tuner
Whatched a number of reviews of various tuners on YouTube and decided to go for a Snark.
It's easy to use, accurate but not too sensitive and the display is crystal clear.
I haven't used the metronome function as it's only a visual metronome.
Simple and accurate to use & always reliable
Pretty much a case of « what it says, it does », with it being extremely accurate and quick to tune. The metronome is also a great reference, especially if you're leading a song off and want to get a relatively close-to-practiced tempo so as to not annoy the drummer! The best tuner I've ever used.
Quite accurate, even on bass. But it consumes batteries pretty much
Whats not to like?
I understand why its a classic.
Its very well built, keeps your instruments in great tune. looks cool. might aswell buy another.
Such a nice tuner
Very easy and practical to use.
Works well, could be sturdier
Great little tuner -- the display is easy to read and it reacts quickly. Full five stars on that one. I haven't used the metronome feature on this, so I cannot comment on it.
I will note that the build quality seems a little cheap. It just does not feel like a product that will last years.
Handy Tuner
Perfect for tuning guitars, basses and ukes. Note that the metronome feature is only a blinking heart on the display and does not make a noise
Tuner ok, Metronome is quiet
The tuning function is ok, easy and precise.
The Metronome is unfortunately quiet, no click sound and that makes it very much useless as you don't want to stare at it to synchronize with the beats.
PERFECT TUNER
Works fine...it does the job fast and sure!
it's good
it's good tuner working fast have bright screen but the socket on the head of the tuner broken and it's useless now it's very good tuner for the price but you must be carefull with this thing.
Simple and clear
Use on all my guitars, quick to respond and simple display to get and stay in tune fast. More convenient than a phone app or mic tuner as you don't have to hold it near strings/sound hole and be able to see the display. This one clamps on the headstock and the display can be moved around so is easy to view either behind or in front of the headstock.
The metronome function is a very small beat symbol so even with the adjustable display its hard to see, but I mainly bought this as a tuner so may not use that function much.
Go on and buy one.
Head seperated from the clip
Although I was very satisfied with the tuner I can no longer use it once the head is seperated from the clip due to braking of the little hands that hold around that ball at the end of the little neck holding it on the clip.
Overall, the electronics of it are very good, but the means holding it on the guitar are very poor.
Nice and fast
Very fast and seems more accurate at reading harmonics than my old D'Addario
The battery seems to die kinda fast
